Now that's a very useful idea! I'd given up on using solar panels

If you haven't purchased your solar panels yet, consider getting flexible 
panels.  they are not as cost effective $/watt, but significantly better in 
watts/lbs, and come with mounting grommets.  I imagine that the barge 
cement previously mentioned would work well.
