Re: [hlds] New TF quickplay in beta
If I'm getting it right, the new system won't put players in empty servers but now requires at least 2 players to join an empty server exclusively with the new system, otherwise the server will be considered full. Mindfuck? [hlds] New TF quickplay in beta
Today's update introduced a new version of quickplay. It is currently in beta. A small percentage of players will be asked if they want to try out the beta, when they press the Start playing button. Or it'll prevent the fake players tactic from working entirely, as it requires the first players to be sent through the quickplay system, and gets treated as full otherwise. That is, until the shortcoming is patched. Re: [hlds] New TF quickplay in beta
So just to be 100% clear, if the first player joins the server from a non-beta matchmaking source (Browser or current Quickplay) ONLY the beta matchmaking will not send new players, correct? Regular Quickplay will not treat the server as full? I read it as this, but I want to be extra sure before I enable it. ___ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: https://list.valvesoftware.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/hlds
