I don't see any point at all hiding your external ip. Why you have a firewall is to protect and hide infrastructure on the INSIDE.
And if you list your server ip maybe someone can try to connect and help out. As long as your router doesn't have a loop-back, you have to connect to your internal IP adress. http://showmyip.com/ check that you have the correct ip. You don't have to forwards ports manually if you have set your computer as a DMZ in the router. But you do have to open the ports in the firewall if it doesn't open that automatically. Some do, some don't. Your dedicated server will show its IP adress, not the IP of your router. People on the inside will still be able to connect to the internal server if you have forwarded the port correctly or set up DMZ to your server. I hope some of this helps for now. The authentication has passed within steam and it says it's Connection to Steam Servers Sucessful when I type manually the sv_lan 0 command.
