[Hugin-devs] [Bug 679715] Re: improved localization

2011-01-09 Thread tmodes
I think I fixed this with
 my last commit.

It's only the first step. First you forgot to modify the paths (copy and paste
error). On Windows the translations are in \share\locale and not in
\share\hugin\data, on Linux in INSTALL_LOCALE_DIR and not in INSTALL_DATA_DIR.
Second the name TranslateText is not approbiate. Better would be
InitTranslation or something similiar. Also add a short documentation what the
function do. Also for Windows and MacOS some includes are missing.
In ImageCache.cpp you forgot to replace a second call of bindtextdomain with
the new function.

For nona you need to put InitTranslation in nonas main() procedure.

The gettext tools are working on windows (there are binary releases, but
they are outdated). The gettext lib is completly broken on Windows with
MSVC.

I also tried successfully to start emblend out of the hugin package via

to me it seems that the emblend gets a wrong input within hugin.

yes, please provide a possibly comprehensive list of functions that need
a shortcut attached; and the suggested key for the shortcut.

This ticket is incomplete as long as there is no such list. Don't worry

Re: [Hugin-devs] [Bug 700790] Re: Control Points tab Rotate Zenith image not working

2011-01-09 Thread Jan Martin
Hi Yuv,

On Sun, Jan 9, 2011 at 9:42 PM, Yuv 700...@bugs.launchpad.net wrote:

Do I understand correctly that the pop-up window in front of Hugin is
how you would like to have the image orientated?

Yes.

Hugin currently does orientate images automatically in relationship to
 the panosphere,

I seriously doubt that.

and in the case of a Zenith + 4 around as shown in the
screenshot it gets the orientation right in only one out of four
 cases.

All of the 5 images just appear as I shot them. The Zenith by chance always
nearly mets one of the 4 images

It would definitely help if the user could rotate the image in the CP
 tab manually.

yes.

I would say that 90° rotations suffice.

For sure its most easy to implement.

 Also it would
help to have a toggle to enable/disable the auto-orientation.

OK.

The Zenith image is upside down, which makes it incredible hard to set
 control points manually.

It would be nice if the Zenith image would automatically rotate in relation
to the image from the 4 around images one tries to set CPs to.

Or have at least a field and button to rotate it manually by x degrees.

[Hugin-devs] [Bug 700896] [NEW] hugin default branch (hg41621fb36f15) crashes

2011-01-09 Thread tduell
Public bug reported:

First time run of this version (Panorama-overview) was OK. Panosphere view was
shown in pane to left of fast preview window. Selecting the little 'pin' icon
changed panosphere view to separate window. Couldn't see how to switch it back
to a FPW pane.
Second time I run this version, FPW opens after alignment, image briefly shown,
then a mangled image appeared, then hugin crashed.
I ran again from terminal which provided the following;
(hugin:3157): Gdk-WARNING **: gdkdrawable-x11.c:952 drawable is not a pixmap or
window

Gdk-ERROR **: The program 'hugin' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'GLXBadDrawable'.
  (Details: serial 35575 error_code 149 request_code 136 minor_code 11)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
aborting...

[1]+ Aborted (core dumped) hugin

Unfortunately, the abrt tool deletes the core dump, and not sure at this time
how to get around that.
The binary was built on fedora 14 x86_64.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Terry
