I am new to hugin and using the 2012.0.0 version which just downloaded recently. I find photos, create points, align and create reasonable images then go to stitch it using the stitch! button on the sticher tab and it creates pto file and asks me to save output image and then does absolutely nothing. Read some of the other forums on this topic and I think my problem is that the batch processor does not work. As it opens in my toolbar for 10sec then just disappears. I can't open it from the hugin file either nor the windows file programs and when i go to the appdata folder there is a crash dumper folder created there with all the failed attempts to run the batch processor. I have unistalled, reinstalled several times to no avail either. Could someone provide me with any information on how to do this. Am trying to create a panorama for a present so trying to get it done quickly! Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! thanks Hello, I never use the batch processor, because I started to use Hugin before it was introduced and also probably because it is not really useful for the kind of panoramas I do (usually less than a dozen of source images). I suggest, until someone helps you find out how to solve the batch processor issue, that you go to Preferences, Stitching tab and switch the processor to Hugin_stitch_project. Hugin will do the stitching himself so you will avoid the problem. Re: [hugin-ptx] Make a script to use Salado Player
Hi, I wrote a Django application for configuring a virtual tour : https://pypi.python.org/pypi/django-saladoplayer/ https://github.com/franckinux/django-saladoplayer Franck Le 02/04/2014 16:03, Carlos Eduardo G. I wonder if entile, from Panotools::Script or any other already done script/tool can generate the tiles needed to Salado Player. Does anybody knows? Bruno? :) I was thinking about using imagemagic, but didn't understand SaladoConverter algorithm only by looking at the generated tiles. They have different sizes sometimes. I mean, at the same level images sometimes differ by 1 pixel. For the VR5 the thing is simpler and the cube faces generated with erect2cube are ok, just need to resize maybe. I want to make it easyer to use these free tools to put a panorama online for flash and iThing devices. First I will probably try a droplet, inspired by krpanotools, but maybe after I can try some GUI for those windows guys :) Thanks, Carlos E G Carvalho (Cartola) --- Inscrições abertas para o curso de Fotografia Panorâmica Imersiva http://edx.srv.br/fotografia-panoramica-imersiva/ --- Rio de Janeiro, 3 e 4 de maio de 2014 http://cartola.org/360 http://www.panoforum.com.br/ -- A list of frequently asked questions is available at: http://wiki.panotools.org/Hugin_FAQ --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups hugin and other free panoramic software group. [hugin-ptx] Vertical horizontal lines in overlap area?
I have two overlapping images of a building that I'm creating an architectural rending from. I auto generated the control pints and then added vertical and horizontal line control points. In the overlapping area I put the same vertical line in both images. It did a great job of squaring up the building. My question. Did I have to put the same vertical line on each image or would it have been better to put it on only one and let all the other CPs straighten the other image to match?
