Re: [hugin-ptx] Does anyone have any image sets, particularly ones that don't blend well, that they could share for testing purposes?

2021-03-02 Thread Sergio Amateis
Hi Monkey !
I send you my contribution. It is a spherical panorama taken with an Andoer
Pano Head and a Samsung Galaxy S8. You will find in this order:

1 shot at Nadir (useless because I always forget manual focus, so the focus
is on the tripod :)
9 shots at -60° pitch, spaced 40°
12 shots at -30°, spaced 30°
12 shots at 0°
12 shots at +30°
9 shots at +60°
1 shot at zenith
every row starts at the same heading.

I enclose my PTO. The Panorama does not stitch well, it always have
incorrect lines joining.
I try to correct with some masks, at least to have "complete" buildings,
but then the problems appear in adiacent areas.

You can download a zip here:

Yes, sure. These are only 3 images. You are great if you find control
points on the *white background* *of Hugin*.
Normally, when viewing in full screen I see where I should add the points.

2021-01-26 Thread Monkey
Hi Laurent,

Those sound ideal, especially if they exhibit change in lighting or
exposure. Loss of contrast is one of my remaining problems with Multiblend
so even well-matched images will be useful for that, and if the panos are
big that will help test caching.

Re: [hugin-ptx] Does anyone have any image sets, particularly ones that don't blend well, that they could share for testing purposes?

2021-01-25 Thread David W. Jones
Interesting. I ran the Curacao JPGs (the ones with the same names as the
ARWs) through Hugin's Assistant. Didn't see any seam issues. The color
on the right 1/3 looks wrong but I didn't start with the ARW files or do
anything with the color.

When I followed my usual manual process, the images didn't come close to
aligning. Three had good control points, two were placed very weirdly.
After the Assistant got through, I viewed it and used the Straighten
function.

Anyway, nice pictures, I hope they're useful for testing blending.
