Re: [hugin-ptx] Level a panorama in batch

2016-02-25 Thread Carlos Eduardo G. Carvalho (Cartola)
Hi people,

I've tried here to rotate, then use linefind, then rotate back. The problem
is that the linefind wasn't successful enough to level the scene. It has
found 2 lines, one ok, but the other completely wrong and even only with
the OK one the panorama didn't level correctly, it would need at least
another one. I guess maybe it is a problem of the scene itself. Probably
this approach would be ok for a scene with more clear lines.

If it was ok, I guess the order wouldn't matter Don, as I am treating each
frame separately and not in the same PTO file.

I am thinking in new alternatives. Maybe using a mask to let in the image
only the parts where I know where there are correct lines, although not
easy to "auto find".

Thanks!

Or do all the alignment frame to frame, if needed, before the second rotation?

Always thought that rotation was the only conceptual difference between the two

Is there a way to level an image using a script? I've seen that "linefind" only
finds vertical lines, but this specific scene doesn't have good verticals. I've
tried and it didn't find any. The scene has a good horizon line, but the Align
inside Hugin also didn't work.

Any suggestions?

[hugin-ptx] Level a panorama in batch

2016-02-24 Thread Carlos Eduardo G. Carvalho (Cartola)
Hi,

I have a video made with a Ricoh Theta S and I would like to level it.

I've tried to level the first frame by hand and then stitch the other
frames with each predecessor, but it fails after some frames.

Is there a way to level an image using a script? I've seen that "linefind"
only finds vertical lines, but this specific scene doesn't have good
verticals. I've tried and it didn't find any. The scene has a good horizon
line, but the Align inside Hugin also didn't work.

Any suggestions?
