Re: [IAEP] New Nielsen Norman study on children's user interfaces
I agree with James on that. It is an interesting read, it will be great if Sugar Labs get the group version. Re: [IAEP] New Nielsen Norman study on children's user interfaces
Thanks, interesting. The summary is useful. If anyone has purchased a full copy or accessed it through their university, please let us know what you think. Sugar Labs could purchase a group license, and make it available to members only, but to make that decision we'd need to know it was worth the price. The price is very small compared to the money we have. -- James Cameron http://quozl.netrek.org/ ___ IAEP -- It's An Education Project (not a laptop project!) [IAEP] New Nielsen Norman study on children's user interfaces
https://www.nngroup.com/articles/childrens-websites-usability-issues/ https://www.nngroup.com/reports/children-on-the-web/ Nielsen Norman has published a new (paid) study about user interfaces for children. Previous studies were 9 and 18 years ago. The (costly) 400-page study is oriented towards websites, not "applications". However, there may be some interesting takeaways in the published summary.
