password management from a USS otelnetd session
Out security department is looking at Cyber-Ark to manage passwords for some robot userids. I have set up the inetd daemon to start up otelnetd for access to USS from a standard telnet session. When I try to change a password from that interface, it looks like it works, but it really does not. Not sure where to look for the problem at. Anybody out there done something like this before? -- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to lists...@bama.ua.edu with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html

How is everybody dealing with this anyhow? Testing procedures include a determination that TELNET and other remote log-in commands are not available for use internally. -- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html

Just getting started on this. Any advice out there? I am on z/OS 1.7 and PCOM 5.8. Hope to use RACF to manage certificates, but I don't have a clue as to what kind I might need. Any help appreciated. -- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
