Gilbert helped me out even though we had never met. I later saw him at SHARE and was happy to be able to thank him in person. A great guy. Really sad to hear this news. I worked with him when he was converting a VSE-ZOS site in Wisconsin. Before I'd met him I'd used many of his utilities, including SHOWMVS, BYPASSNQ, and many others. He was a VERY nice guy, very down to earth (it goes without saying that his technical skills were top notch). I am a bit shocked by this - I didn't know he was ill, but in retrospect hadn't seen any posts by Gilbert for awhile. Rest in Peace, Gilbert. I had a similar thought. If an obituary shows up in US or Canada we can use obituaries.com to post remembrances or condolences. I searched for French obituaries and Saint-Flour. Evidently this a leg of the Tour de France and gave up after about ten pages of scrolling. Found an old reference at the Palmetto Bay, FL address on myspace but it hasn't been updated in a while.
