No worries. Sorry I wasn't clearer the first time. Byproduct of trying to
write too quickly, I'm afraid.

Regards,
Greg

With egg on face, I misread the string every time. Other guy fixed his command;
it works. Thanks and apologies.

Skip,

I'm suggesting that he's entering the wrong command - LISTDS instead of
LISTDSD.

Answering multiple questions.

PROFILE -- I have PREFIX set, but the command works for me without prepending
my prefix.

WAD -- If you do TSO H LISTDSD SYN you will see that the keyword PREFIX() is a
valid filter. For me it's being interpreted that way; for the other guy it's
ignoring '(ABC)' altogether and treating the keyword as a data set value.

That's the message you get if you issue [tso] LISTDS PREFIX(ABC). At least
that's what I got. LISTDSD works as intended

(I know, should go to RACF List.)

A user wants to list RACF profiles for all data sets beginning ABC. So I did
this:

[tso] LISTDSD PREFIX(ABC)

I got a list of all profiles beginning ABC. When he did exactly the same thing,
he got this:

DATA SET userid.PREFIX NOT IN CATALOG

We both have RACF AUDIT authority and nothing else. Say what?

Do a TSO PROFILE command from option 6. It appears one of you have profile
prefix set and the other one doesn't have prefix set.

Thanks
