3490E aka 36 trk aka ECCST?
Please note, nobody manufactures new media (although it is still
possible to purchase already produced carts). It's even worse with the
drives. New drives are unavailable for many years, service of existing
ones is very limited.
So, what tape media to choose? Obsolete MAGSTAR family?
Or maybe Jaguar, but maybe someone decided to use STK tapes?
Note, the drive used just for software installation purposes is very
expensive toy, it's definitely not a 3,5 FDD. The cost of single
(first) Jaguar drive can be as $100k high.
A lot of money spent just to insist on tape media for the installation.
