[ilugd] Cannot upgrade ubuntu from fiesty fawn(7.04) to Gutsy Gibbon(7.10)
Hello Members, I am trying to update my UBUNTU but due to some bugs this hasn't been possible. The update manager says "Cannot download prerequisites" while being in the first step i.e. Preparing for upgrade. Please respond if you have any solutions or suggestions. [ilugd] FC6 rpm command problem

hello everyone, Is there any plugin in mozilla firefox or any other web browser that can be used to open mht (Microsoft HTML) files. [ilugd] Drupal installation problem
Hello members, I have php5 and apache2 on my system(UBUNTU DAPPER DRAKE). My working(ALIAS) directory is /home/vaibhav/webapps. I didnt use synaptic to install drupal since it was removing php5 and installing php4 on the system. well i sorted out the problem by just giving read permissions to my working directory chmod -R 755 /home/webapps i had already created a alias directory here. anyways thanks for the reply. [ilugd] apache permissions
Hello members, I have edubuntu 6.06 on my system. 1.) I am learning php therefore i have installed apache2.0 through synaptic on my system together with php. My working directory is /home/webapps/ , now when i execute my pages through http://localhost/webapps/index.php or any other html file i get a error "you donot have permissions to view this file ". [ilugd] How to Bridge Dial-up and LAN
Hello members, To start with i give the configurations of the two computers which are to be connected. The first one is my fathers office PC having a lan connection through which he accesses the internet. This office pc also has an external modem card along with a good system configuration. The second one is my home PC also having a modem card and a decent PC configuration. Ubuntu Breezy is the OS in both the systems. the problem is i want to connect to the internet at my home by using dial-up connection with my father's office PC. In NTPC we have an intercom facility by which we make calls and is absolutely free. I am a newbie to Linux and i dont have any idea how to bridge Dial-up and LAN at my fathers office PC. [ilugd] Write permissions on HDD and VMware
hello members, Could you please some of my problems 1. I am using Ubuntu Breazy. the problem is that i cant write to my other hard disk fat partitions with my normal user account. For that i have to use sudo nautilus everytime.How can i get write permissions to write on my partitions. 2. i have installed UBUNTU 5.04 on my system together with WIN XP. I face a problem that whenever i correct the time on one OS, the time on the other OS gets disturbed.
