Prof Munshi Sir Thank you for suggesting alternative ID to my Meconopsis. M.simplicifolia, as per Flora of India Vol-2, is not known in Western Himalaya. It is a smaller, polycarpic plant. Moreover, Checklist of Flowering Plants of Uttarakhand also not mention M.simplicifolia. Here in Uttarakhand we have two yellow flowered Meconopsis species only (M.paniculata and M.robusta). Halo everyone. In Hamburg there are some enthus, who do urban gardning. Last year they built one greywater tower. This year they are building another one. I found the information interesting. Perhaps someone can use it! It is so hot here and very little rain in the last three weeks. I wish, I had tried one tower.
