[efloraofindia:361316] Re: Flora of India Checklist released

2020-10-09 Thread J.M. Garg
Thanks, Tapas ji.
It is not the price, but easy availability of inf. on the net (to all over
the world), which matters.
We have to refer to the inf. of Flora of Pakistan, Flora of China,
Checklist of Nepal, Flora of Bhutan etc. rather than those of BSI, simply
beause of this.
With Corvid, the situation will further change due to all things going
online.

2020-10-09 Thread J.M. Garg
Yes, Bijay ji,
Flora of China
 says
"Corolla yellow, 5-5.5 cm; tube 3-3.5 cm, base slightly inflated, throat
3-5 mm in diam., narrower than base; lobes linear, 2-2.5 cm, *basal ca. 1
cm orange-yellow, wider and strongly revolute, apical part ± subulate,
purple*. "
There seems variation in this portion.
I could find the exact match in an image by Stainton, John David Adam
 from Nepal as per GBIF
.

2020-10-09 Thread Bijay khadka
Thank you for the stem photo but these are a bit younger to compare as at a
young stage it looks similar.
I searched a mature plant here in Nepal to identify similar species. I had
to wait for a year.
In the young stage only can be traced from commercial name or from the
nearby nursery.

but as of branchlets looks closer to *A heterophyllum* or *A. columnaris*
