2021-07-30 Thread Mahadeswara
Yes. Contrary to its species name it has no fragrans . Common name
white-lady. But why the flowers are not fully opened. But there is
slight variation in leaves compared to the pictures on NET. In fact I
have this plant in my garden. Comes up on its own. In Tamil Nadu the
plant is known as indrapushpam & used in Sidda medicine .

 Some earlier relevant feedback:

Cleome speciosa - from Ajinkya ji.

Also looks like C.haasleriana. How does one differentiate Cleome
viscosa from C. hassleriana- from Mahadeswara ji.

Same question I have...how to differentiate between the two?

2021-07-30 Thread J.M. Garg
Thanks, Singh ji,
I think it may be *Schlumbergera x buckleyi* as per images and details at
https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/schlumbergera-russelliana/ (Most of the
plants sold in stores today are hybrids of S. russelliana
and S.
truncata .
The hybrid type determines when it will bloom. There are over 200 cultivars
of these plants which give a variety of flower colors.)
