 identity last week.

 I have been seeing this grass for the past two years and the images
 attached have been captured between August and November.

 Identification pointers:

 Peduncle below the spikes and rachis of the spikes hairy (-742).
 Ligule: narrow fimbriate membrane.
 Spike length: 2 in
 Spikelets have awn.
 Racemes are compact (-09432).

 Original article can be found at: J. Proc. Asiat. Soc. Bengal 8: 311
 1912.

Sir following Sp. reported from H.P:-
Tylophora tenerrima from Shoja area of Kullu as per  Flora of Kullu by
Dayal Singh Dhaliwal and M sharma 1999.
T. govanii, T. hirsuta, T. tenerrima is reported from H.P as per Flora of
HP by Chowdhery and Wadhwa 1984.
What about Vincetoxicum hirundinaria??? Reported from the same location
where current plant was clicked.
