Hi Thanks for your reply and sorry for the lateness of mine. My copy was a copy that I had checked-out. I checked it out again and it solved the problem. (Maybe it is the source of an import). Actually, it looks like your CVS/Root files are present, so something evidentally created them. If you've made changes to the files in those directories and changes have happened on the server, recovering is going to be very hard. You need to figure out which versions you checked out in the first place, check them out again, and copy the changed files over them, then reattempt your update. Alternatively, if you can restore your Entries files from a backup, that could work too.
