o Multiple (5+) years in an Upstream Oil & Gas IT environment.

domains, functions, and industries. Has an extensive software development
background, preferably having been in team leadership roles. o Has a deep
understanding of the principles of software development, with experience in
multiple environments and platforms. o Has good-to-excellent understanding

networking, network management, security approaches, and common protocols.

*Data Modelers *having prior experience with creating logical data models
for Long Term / Short Term Debt and Cash & Due products.

Data Modeler is responsible for designing and supporting physical data
models in support of a global data warehouse and Reporting Database for use
by Finance, Enterprise Risk and Compliance across all lines of business.
Modeler will be responsible for all deliverables associated with the model,
including source to Client mappings and data dictionary. Modeler will also
support development, testing, and production of the data warehouse as part
of the Data Investigation team.**

*Responsibilities:*


Participate in the development and maintenance of logical data models.
Transform logical models into physical database designs for staging areas,
data warehouses, and data marts.
Create DDL for required database objects and migration scripts to load data
into new structures when needed.
Develop mappings of sources to Client databases, including documentation of
transformation rules.
Maintain reference data such as lists of valid values.
Assess the quality of data during development and test phases of the
projects, and open trouble tickets when defects are found. Follow up with
development teams to insure that issues are resolved expeditiously.
Respond promptly to trouble tickets opened by testers and production users
who report defects in the data. Pinpoint the root cause and assign the
tickets to the appropriate development teams.
Develop scripts to correct bad data as required.


*Knowledge/Skills Required:*


Prior experience with creating logical data models for Long Term / Short
Term Debt and Cash & Due is required.
Experience using Erwin to create logical and physical data models.
Experience building Data Warehouses and back-office systems.
Experience working with and supporting ETL and Front-End development teams.
Strong Database experience with RDBMS: Netezza and Teradata preferred, but
DB2, Oracle, are acceptable.
Ability to write complex SQL needed to investigate data issues, repair
damaged data, and migrate data to new structures.
Familiarity with tuning and performance optimization techniques.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including use of Excel for
presentation of data and mappings.
Overall from 5+ years of data modeling experience.

• Responsible for assisting the Global Supply Chain business
units in maximizing capabilities and ensuring that system configuration
supports standard industry processes. Ensure that customers adhere to

• Troubleshoot and provide support on SAP security
authorizations in related modules.



• Responsible for system upgrades and acceptance testing of new
software releases.



• Assist customers in running and interpreting results of
reports used in analysis.

coordinating efforts with ABAP, BASIS and BI technical support.



• Provide support and management of third party consultants
that are allocated to SAP projects.
