Role : Network Administrator Duration : 6+ months Experience: 10 years Location: Anywhere within the US *Must Have Skills: * The requirements for this position are a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field, plus 10+ years in the Information Systems industry. The candidate must possess a strong fundamental knowledge and experience in network infrastructure including areas such as routing, switching, MPLS, VPNs and general network security. The candidate should also have a strong specialized skillset for: • Network design and implementation of network related data center and virtualization concepts • LAN/WAN design and implementation • Wireless technologies • Discovery and troubleshoting of network application environments Knowledge in the following areas would be considered a plus: • Network Security Strategy, • Disaster Recovery • Unified Communications All knowledge must be based on actual and current product experience and thought leadership roles. Up-to-date network certifications in CISCO, Juniper,or other relevent network organization is a serious plus. CCNP, DCNID or F5 CSE certifications show specific knowledge in key areas. Skills in Cisco Infrastructure Radius/TACAS+/PKI important. *Desired Skills:* Strong Network Architecture Skills • Product experience in CISCO – (Juniper, HP, or Brocade is a plus) • Routing – BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Redistribution and Route Selection • Switching – Vlans, Spanning Tree, Port Channels, VPC • WAN – Optimization, MPLS, Metro Ethernet, Frame Relay, ATM Data Center Virtualization • Product Expertise in CISCO NEXUS 7000, 1000V, OTV • Consolidated I/O, Network Connectivity for Fibre Channel/Iscsi • Virtual Contexts, Virtual switch technology • FCoE • High Speed Ethernet Technology Application Management • Product Expertise in Application Delivery – F5, Netscaler, or A10 • Application Management technology – Load Balancing, SSL/HTTP offload • Application Network troubleshooting and Discovery skills – o TCP/IP packet analysis • WAN Optimization - Riverbed • Tool experience with Sniffer/Wireshark General ability in the following areas: • Advanced analytical ability • Project management skills • Strong organizational skills. • Excellent Communication skills • Strong Documentation ability Thanks&Regards, Davis Idexcel Technologies.
