*Position: PeopleSoft Functional (GL / KK) Specialist*

*Duration: 10+ Months*

*Location: Washington, DC, 20001*




*Must Have:*

· Commitment Control modules in PeopleSoft Financials with relevant
experience in version 9.1

· Knowledge and experience working with the flow of accounting
transactions and overall interaction between General Ledger, Commitment
Control, and other modules

· Knowledge and experience working with at least some of the other
modules the House is currently using: Accounts Payable, Accounts
Receivable/Billing, Asset Management, and Purchasing.

· Note: Knowledge and experience with the following is a plus, but
not required:

· Experience with PeopleSoft Financials version 9.1 and 9.2;

· Working with entry events and the interaction between General
Ledger, Commitment Control, and the other modules

· Integrating PeopleSoft with Oracle’s Hyperion Enterprise
Performance Management



*SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES*

· Support the upgrade of the House's ERP PeopleSoft Financials
production application from the current 9.1, People Tools 8.54 version to
9.2 and PeopleTools 8.55 and/or later versions

· Assist with evaluating additional functionality and using current
functionality in other ways to increase the benefits of the application for
the House

· Plan and execute the upgrade so that the other concurrent related
projects are integrated as needed

· Support the House's ERP PeopleSoft Financials production
application, as well as its continued development, testing, and integration
with related applications

· Work directly with other consultants from multiple firms working
on the upgrade and other PeopleSoft related projects as well as with the
PeopleSoft support team.

*TASK ORDER DETAILS*

Client has been using PeopleSoft Financials as its production financials
application with the following modules: General Ledger, Commitment Control,
Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable/Billing and Asset
Management. Currently the House is using version 9.1, tools 8.54.

The House uses Oracle Access Management and Oracle Virtual Directory Single
sign-on functionality for PeopleSoft with Active Directory. PeopleSoft is
also integrated with several Oracle Web Center applications including
Imaging, Content, Document Capture (ODC), Forms Recognition (OFR), the
Oracle SOA Suite, and the Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management
Public Sector Budget and

Planning application.



The House is upgrading to PeopleSoft version 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.55. In
addition to the upgrade, normal production support activities such as
adding new reports and enhancements to PeopleSoft Financials will be
underway during the timeframe of this task order. Several other projects
may also be underway: supporting the physical inventory and other asset
related processes, enhancing the single sign-on functionality, upgrading to
Oracle 12c, determining Contract Management requirements, evaluating Oracle
Unified Directory (OUD) and other Identity Management functionality, and
upgrading Oracle Access Management.


The House is seeking a PeopleSoft Functional Specialist to support the
House's General Ledger and Commitment Control (KK) modules as part of the
upgrade. The Functional Specialist will support the interaction of the GL
and KK data with the other modules. The focus of the Functional Specialist
will be to assist with the upgrade to PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 as well as
to provide production support and continued development and testing of
PeopleSoft Financials and related applications. Additional responsibilities
include making sure the upgrade works with the existing interfaces
including with the Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management Public Sector
Budget and Planning application. The Functional Specialist will potentially
assist with other modules the House is currently using or may implement.
The Functional Specialist will assist the PeopleSoft support staff and work
directly with the Finance staff.






*SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES*

·4.1 Support the upgrade of the House's ERP PeopleSoft Financials
production application from the current 9.1, PeopleTools 8.54 version to
9.2 and PeopleTools 8.55

·4.2 Assist with evaluating additional functionality and using
current functionality in other ways to increase the benefits of the
application for the House, especially the Financial staff

·4.3 Plan and execute the upgrade so that the other concurrent
related projects are integrated as needed

·4.4 Work directly with other consultants from multiple firms
working on the upgrade and other PeopleSoft related projects.



*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*

·At least one full lifecycle engagement as a PeopleSoft Financials
Consultant/Analyst in a large-scale financial systems ERP
implementation/upgrade

·Comprehensive knowledge and experience working in the specific
module specified in the request for task order proposals

·Ability to create, update, and review functional documents such as
policies and procedures, operations manuals, change requests and training
materials; and

·Strong business/systems analysis experience working closely with
users to resolve problems and capture new business requirements.



*6. SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS*

·6.1 Comprehensive knowledge and experience working with the GL
and/or KK modules in PeopleSoft Financials with relevant experience in
version 9.2

·6.2 Knowledge and experience working with the interaction of
General Ledger and/or Commitment Control activity with other modules

·6.3 Knowledge and experience working with the PeopleSoft reporting
tools (nVision, Crystal, PS Query)



*Note: Knowledge and experience with the following is a plus, but not
required:*

·6.4 Upgrading PeopleSoft Financials to 9.2

·6.5 PeopleSoft Financials at a federal entity

·6.6 The other modules the House is currently using: Accounts
Payable, Accounts Receivable/Billing, Asset Management, and the Purchasing
and eProcurement suite of Modules

·6.7 Working with entry events and the flow of accounting
transactions between Commitment Control, General Ledger, and the other
modules; and/or

·6.8 The Hyperion
