*SQL Server DBA (Service Engineer)* *Work Location = Redmond,WA* *Project Tenure = 1-2+years* *Rate max $50/hr on C2C/1099* Job Description : •You have 5 years or more years of experience as a SE/OE/DBA managing large-scale database systems in production environments. You have a deep understanding of multi-tier architectures and operational fundamentals associated with managing these systems. You know what is required to run a highly available, highly scalable, efficient and secure service and can demonstrate experience. •You are experienced in managing production environments running Windows 2012 Server, SQL Server 2010 and IIS components. Networking troubleshooting and scripting skills are preferable. You have a good understanding of Load balancing, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Performance Tuning, and Optimization techniques. •You have strong knowledge and have demonstrated experience in performance monitoring, remote administration, database management, internet technologies. You understand what it means to monitor a service using SCOM. Experience with System Center Service Manager is a plus. •You have a clear understanding of TCP/IP, routing and switching technologies. Knowledge and exposure to complex network architectures, network troubleshooting, load balancing and network security is preferred. Azure experience is a big plus. •You have strong analytical and customer service skills. You can solve problems, exercise good judgment and have good decision-making skills. You know when to be strategic and when to be tactical and can demonstrate that on an ongoing basis. •You have excellent written/verbal communication skills. •Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
