Position: Java / Angular Developer Location: Los Angeles, CA (Need Local) Duration: 6+ Months *Must be US Citizen or Green Card* We are seeking a well-rounded engineer to work on a Java/Angular web application. The focus of this position is on front-end, but we'd prefer someone with some experience in back-end Java as well. This position will work on our highest priority application, a web application using Java, Angular, Groovy, and other tech. This is primarily a coding position, with the majority of the time spent in heads-down development with the other team members. This person will also participate in the agile process - stand ups, grooming, planning, demos, and retrospectives. This person will be required to take requirements and UX designs and translate them into working, well-tested, frontend web code. Flexibility is also required, as sometimes uncertainty in requirements means working on things before they are fully developed or doing re-work because of changes. In addition, this person may be asked to use their own best judgement for something that isn't fully fleshed out. Desired technical skills, in most-to-least important order: - Angular - Javascript - Java - Spring - Unit Testing - Groovy Junior engineers are acceptable for this position. In general, this person will have other engineers skilled in Java, Angular, Javascript, etc. to help them. Since we are in the middle of this project, this position is for 3-4 months, although we hope to extend the project into another phase.
