Actually -- Sony has NOT stopped making the Cassette WalkMan --
so I stand corrected --

and for whatever reason, the Cassette as a music medium (like Vinyl) is
making a

I have noticed that cassettes/cassette players are making somewhat of a 
comeback (perhaps not as big as vinyl LP records). Some of the stores are 
starting to stock them once again.

Dennis,

Thanks for the link to article. The situation is isn't being helped by the 
U.S. D.O.E Level VI energy-efficiency regulation. Which basically mandates 
all external power have to be switch mode types. A similar situation now 
exists in the EU too.
