[IRCA] Last night's log
Haven't seriously been chasing MW DX for some time now due to a lot of reasons. Last night I sat down and gave it a shot. Got one new station. WYMC 1430 1 KW Mayfield KY 2237 to 2300 EST mixing with a lot of others - only one that was coming up out of the jumble. ID by programming. High School Basket Ball game. Announce very happy when ever Mayfield scored. Logged it at 2. SDRIQ and SDRConsole V3 with DX Engineering 43 foot vertical for HAM Station Other rigs: IC-7600, IC-7410, ICF-2010, RF-2200, RF 2600, Tecsun 380, Lafayette HW-30, Halicrafters s-38 B, National NC-109 (under repair) Other Ants. 160 meter dipole, 80 meter dipole, 15 foot ground mounted vertical. Thanks for the answers Rick and Kaz. That is kind of what I suspected it was. They would be loud and clear with "The Praise ", a little music, and even an ad or two but never got a local ad or full ID on the peaks. I appreciate the help. I was using SDR radio software version 3 from Simon. First time I had tried it. I just got my BCB Dx computer set up and going yesterday and thought I would give it a try. Had to reconfigure the shack and my main desktop do to a computer failure of my main machine I use for "normal" stuff like most e-mails, web stuff, finances, and gaming.
