I'll take a listen to the WAV file again for 603 kHz. I'm pretty good at
telling Japanese apart from Korean, but your scenario makes more sense than
the station changing affiliation.

would have had the 3 and 1 pips on the hour of course, but that may have
been all you heard from them, as the pips can really cut the crud. The rest
