Nigel: A few days back you were asking about DUs in Alberta? Well no DUs up here for many years, but then I don't try for them these days. But I do have TAs to report.
Nine days on ago Aug 14 I heard what I thought were faint TA carriers on 162 and 171, but I wasn't sure. Then all last week nothing. But this evening both were back. 171 was of sufficient strength to produce audio if the band had been quieter. Just too much t-storm noise. No idea who they were as several countries have been logged on both frequencies. August 14 is the earliest I have ever logged TAs from this location.
