[IRCA] KOMO PATTERN CHANGE PROBLEMS

2009-04-08 Thread Pete Taylor
I was driving home this morning at 9:15PDT when KOMO-1000 popped on
and off in what appeared to be a very late pattern change. The same
thing happened again at 9:32 and 9:33. Being this close, I couldn't
tell whether they were coming from or going to non-DA or whether it
was just stuck.

Pete-
I wish their day pattern would stay on over night, perhaps I would be able
to log them here in Tennessee. I do have a QSL for them, however, it is for
reception when I was living in Texas.

Hi Pete,
I wonder if they were taking field measurements or something.
I caught the same thing at around 8:30.

2009-04-08 Thread Bruce Portzer

Pete

I noticed a similar problem with KOMO several months ago at sunset.
They suddenly went off the air for a couple of minutes right when they
should have switched to the night time DA. I haven't noticed it any
other time, so it might have been an isolated incident. Or maybe not.
