Got a QSL from Japanese station 1116 JODR for my MW station #1600
QSLed.QSLing any station is getting harder, but Japanese are still
about the most reliable. Was happy to get JODR as it took luck to hear
it given 4BC's dominance of the frequency, and then some effort and
further luck to even identify it.

Nigel,

Great catch and QSL. You are right the Japanese are great QSLers. Plus they
have such nice QSL cards.

Nicely done Nigel. Was it "ID by QSL", or did you have some other magic?

Never ID'd here, though there have been suspicions. Usually, if
Asian conditions are good here, then there arrives a big Chinese
bruiser to contend with.

best wishes,

Nick

Hello Nigel
1053 TalkSport is a real pest here in Carlisle (UK!) I have been looking on
1050 for XEG for years now. Glad to read about your QSL successes. I have had
some luck with email QSLs from XERCN and XEPE. I brighten up the reply with
stuff from the station websites.

Hello all,
Don't usually post my QSLs to the list, but last week was a milestone week,
so will make an exception.
After being stuck on 1299 for a while, CRI gave me my 1300th MW station QSLed
with a card for 1422 khz from Kashi, China, even including the site.  Normally
my milestones seem to be ho-hum catches so it was nice #1300 was something
exotic.   Also got #1301 (WLBL 930 in WI) and #1302 (TalkSport 1053 in the UK)
last week, making it my best week in a long time.  TalkSport even sent me a 210
page book published for TalkSports 10th anniversary, costing them over 4 pounds
in postage.   It's weeks like that that still keep me QSLing, in spite of the
generally poor response rate these days.
