Hi Patrick and All, I didn't realize that the KBIS call letters were in Washington State these days; last I knew, wasn't that call in Little rock? KBIS was a station in Bakersfield from 1950 to 1977. 970 kHz. Rick, Yes, KBIS was indeed Little Rock's call on 1010. I got them QSL'd under two or three calls. KWDB is back on this afternoon.I guess they found some money somewhere to run on again.They have been taking weekends off for awhile.---Also All X banders were active at 3:30 PM except 1610.Even had one on 1630 with a trace of what I suspect is the SS in Wyoming trying to get up out of the Radio Disney hash on 1640 in portland Bill in BC __ Looking for the perfect gift? KWDB recently (about 3 months ago) fired their Morning man, Moose Moran and the news person.. obliterating the only two on air personalities they had. The station was bought by people who didnt know theyre doing and although theyre fairly new owners of the station (less then 2 eyars) they haveit up for sale. Moose Moran was canned? Wow! He has been there for years and their big morning personality. Hey, I used to listen to his show when I had the 2,000 foot beverage to the North. With the EWE's KWBD is weak days. DXable, but not great.
