Listened from 1321 to 1432 utc.  Not much this morning here in Salmon Creek, WA

153  RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1331 weak, but steady signal with man in Russian.
189  RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1334 very weak with same man talking. 1355 steady 
weak
 signal.
279  RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1335 very weak with same as above. ^  1354 weak.
594  JAPAN, JOAK NHK1 1337 fair with woman/man in Japanese. 
603  REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLSA 1354 very weak at times.
648  RUSSIA, 1341 fair with domestic splatter.  Korean (PALS)
774  JAPAN, JOUB NHK2 1243 fair with man in Japanese. Splatter. Good at 
1352.
828  JAPAN, JOBB NHK2 1420 fair //774.
1566 REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLAZ 1344 good signal until antenna switch at 1345.

[IRCA] TP's for 10-21-10 in Seattle

 My DX this morning was pretty much the same as everyone else's.  It 
must be that durned high pressure ridge that CKWX keeps talking about.  
Maybe the TPs are bouncing off the top of it and heading out into deep 
space ;)


I had decent audio on 1566 when I turned the radio on at 1340.  It went 
downhill from there.  The NHK "powerhouses" had all the power of hamster 
wheels today, with wispy bits of audio on 594 and 747, and no sign of 
693 774 or 828.  Elsewhere in the band, I heard below average signals on 
972 1134 1206 and 1287.  After 12 minutes of listening I gave up and 
headed off to work.
