A slight, so very slight uptick in conditions this morning (and yet, this
evening, slight carriers on 1089 and 1215so, hope springs eternal)

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

nada,

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling with splash or noise):

absent

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could
be understood by a native speaker:

nil

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

612 man DU English? 1522UT

774 man talking, Japanese intonation 1505UT

972 man and woman talking 1552UT, Korean possible...?

1017 island sounding vocal music 1513UT, suspect Tonga

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged
by splatter)
1566 1593  seemed to be Asian;
503 702 738 891 1098 seemed to be DU

best wishes,

Nick

Pretty much all DU this morning, and fairly random fades to

An odd morning, nothing loud and pretty much no sunrise
enhancement. Oh, and last night's squall broke my West Flag
support, so listening is a bit crippled just now.. The wounded
Flag's remote adjustment still nulls pretty well!

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):

not today

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it

747 JOIB? man and woman talking 1423UT, lessons?
873 ? man talking 1344UT, too murky for language guess, and no NHK2
audible at this time

972 man talking 1412UT
1566 HLAZ w/standard JJ program s/off 1343UT; oyasumi nasai indeed,
I'm off to work...actually, the recording tells me that at 1550UT,
there was no audio, but there were three carriers, roughly 1566.000,
1566.003 and 1566.031Hz
