HI Guys: The band seemed pretty subdued here tonight at Sunset...but just as I was about to pack it in and go watch the newsI was surprised to have a Station Fade up on 1190 with a Great ID for a New One!! This came up outta nowhere and disappeared just about as fast!! I think the ID I heard was the Station ID they give just before switching to Night Power and Different Pattern Change??? Hi Guys: Good Conditions to the Northwest tonight at Sunsetbut the only New Station Logged for the ULR LOG was to the Southwest!! It is a RELOG Call Letter Change for the OVERALL LOGbut NEW to the ULR LOG. Nothing too exciting...but I haven't logged this station since 1979.so it must not put much of a signal up my way??? Hi Guys: Tuning around tonight at Sunset conditions seem to be rather Auroral here with Lots of stuff being heard from the SOUTH...but little from EAST/WEST. Happy to log a little 1 KW DAYTIMER signing off from NORTH CAROLINA. This station is NEW to both the ULR and OVERALL LOGS. Hopefully as the night progresses things will get better to the SOUTH and we'll have more to report. This 1 KW Daytimer I logged was mixing with another Station from GEORGIA at the time! I was just about to pack it in when I heard this one...so I'm glad I hung in there til the Top of the Hour!! Also had a couple of decent RELOGSbut this was not a spectacular Sunset Session!! Yeahyou heard it right. The guys have now got me back into Beacon Dxingonly now on a Ultralight Radio!!! Great Fun...listening to the Noise, Squawks, Beeps, Whistles and Growls!! Quite amazing what can be heard down below 500 Khz with a ULR Radio though!! I guess a change is as good as a rest eh??? One Station tonight to add to the ULR and OVERALL LOGS. Conditions were best to the EAST tonight especially NEW YORK STATE, but everything from NY tonight was a RELOG.
