Re: [IRCA] WA stations turned off
Thanks Paul. Then we can add two more to the list. That is five! There is are a mention that Kirkland WA 1460 has returned to the air. I could regularly get their 5 KW on 1460 here, but I have not caught them if they have returned. Re: [IRCA] WA stations turned off
1340 is a bit of a rather pleasant mess in Victoria. Nearest to dominant was presumed CINL with Canadian Press items at 7pm Pacific time. best wishes, Nick KBRO definitely off now. They typically dominate the frequency here in N Seattle. Did not hear KLDY, KNTB or 1460-Kirkland today as well, although I didn't spend enough time on frequency to be 100% sure. These are usually heard but usually somewhat weak... and I didn't hear anything on my car radio. Only heard sports on 1340, so perhaps Anacortes is also off. Re: [IRCA] WA stations turned off
Thanks Nick. Unfortunately, none of the bunch being off will have no effect here. KLDY 1280 is about the only one that had any signal, and even then they weren't much. KIT is stronger. Thanks. Kirkland here then would be DX. hi. They were not all that great with 5KW directional in the past. I can't tell you when they returned, because they're so weak that they're below the noise in the room where I normaly check. At night they'd be swamped by Yakima and everything else on the frequency. I wonder if they're even listenable in Kirkland, day or night. But I'm sure that officially they're no longer silent ... but who would know? Bob Dylan said You gotta serve somebody. Well, if you're Family Radio in Kirkland, maybe not. Or at least not yet.
