Patrick, We were driving in the Moses Lake area of Washington at sunset a few years ago listening to KEX. The signal was good until they when to directional, signal dropped to a poor level. KEX put a great signal into the San Francisco Bay area after local KNBA signed off at sunset. In fact during the KNBA sign off they would say stay tuned for KEX. Dennis, It reminds me of when Bob and I were on our way back from LA and listening to KMPC 710 in the 80s, and it was blasting in all the way North on I-5, until around LSS when we were somewhere North of Fresno and suddenly, it dropped off the dial. Totally gone. From probably an S9+ 10 DB to nothing. I could only hear bits on KFIA and KIRO in there and they were weak, but no sign of KMPC.
