You mentioned the setup is destined for Walt's cabin so I assume your Victoria
antenna and attenuation and orientation are not what matters.
They don't apply to Walt's cabin, right?

Uhm Walt?

We have all kinds of ideas for antennas - but likely N or NW FLAG OR KAZ.

I’m more interested in whether you can connect and how fast the connection is.

Thanks Charles.

Walt won't be using an ALA100, righty?
So should we ignore the antenna, orientation and attenuation aspects and just
comment on connectivity?

I’ve had a few email - my KIWI WEBSDR is not located at the University of
Victoria -

It’s located at my semi rural home about 4 km away.

It’s only on a few hours a day - working out various connectivity issues with
it — and getting the best antenna relationship with it.

Stay tuned... so to speak.

It will be interesting to get a comparison of DU reception
Walt...if/when conditions improve.

With Juan de Fuca Strait just down the road from you, I would hope
that your DU reception should be superior to mine and to Colin's.

Thanks to Colin Newell for getting a west coast Kiwi SDR on-line today. I

For me, I'm also hearing weakly, a cochannel. Wasn't sure who it was until
I heard "94.3", which make this the Tilamook, OR True Oldies station, KTIL
which occasionally dominates the channel. All nice! 73, Walt
