[IslamCity] Morocco Islamic Party to Fight Corruption, Poverty

2006-03-26 Thread S A Hannan

Morocco Islamic Party to Fight Corruption,
  Poverty

"Morocco needs all its energies to
tackle its problems and face its several challenges," said
Othmani.
  RABAT, March 24, 2006 (IslamOnline.net News
Agencies) – Morocco's main Islamic party, Development and Justice Party
(PJD) which is tipped to win the parliamentary election next year, will
focus on fighting corruption and poverty, its leader said on Friday, March
  24.
"Morocco needs all its energies to tackle its problems
and face its several challenges ... so we have to mobilize and rally all
forces and synergies and we have to avoid being sectarian," Saadeddine
Othmani, who could be Morocco's first Islamist prime minister, told
  Reuters in an interview.
He said widespread corruption in the government's
bloated bureaucracy was the main hurdle in the struggle against poverty,
  illiteracy and unemployment.
The government acknowledges the impact of corruption
in the country and is considering setting up an agency to fight
  it.
More than 4 million of Morocco's 30 million people are
poor, and some 12 million cannot read or write, while the jobless rate is
more than 10 percent, according to official figures.
The PJD is the third-largest group in the 325-member
parliament, just behind the Socialist Union of Popular Forces (USFP) which
dominates a centrist coalition government with the nationalist Istiqlal
  party.
But, according to a poll by the US-based International
Republican Institute, the PJD could overwhelm USFP and Istiqlal and win 47
percent of the vote compared to 29 percent for the two other parties
  together.
Othmani played down the poll and predictions of a PJD
  win.
"Predictions often do not coincide with facts and
reality. So let's not think too far ahead and let's wait. Voter opinions
can change and the polls are not for tomorrow," he said.
  Christian Democrat
Othmani said his party could be compared to Christian
  Democrat parties in Europe.
"The PJD is a political party with Islamic
  references," he said.
Othmani and other party officials are expected next
month to begin trips to France, the United States and other countries to
drum up support for the PJD's program.
"Our duty is to reach out to the other side (the West)
and listen to what they say. We must have a way with the West and use the
good manner to win acceptance and respect," he said.
The US State Department has reportedly drawn up a memo
calling for direct and permanent political dialogue with Egypt's Muslim
Brotherhood, which cruised to an impressive parliamentary victory last
  year.
If the PJD wins the 2007 election, it would be the
first Islamist victory in North Africa since the Islamic Salvation Front
looked set to win Algeria's parliamentary polls in 1991.
The ISF had a commanding lead after the election's
first round. The Algerian military scrapped the elections before the final
second round, provoking civil strife that lasted more than a decade and
  cost about 200,000 lives.

[IslamCity] LIVING ISLAM DAILY

2006-03-26 Thread Curtis Sharif

Bismillah, FYI Peace, Curtis Sharif Houston, Texas20th March, 2006 LIVING ISLAM DAILYThe Prophet (PBUH) said, 'Take benefit of five before five: your youth before your old age, your health before your sickness, your wealth before your poverty, your free-time before your
preoccupation, and your life before your death.' (Al-Hakim, al-Baihaqi). Indeed, we all, at some point in our lives, are reminded of the passage of time….It may be due to an affliction that has befallen us, a word we have read or an incident that we have witnessed. We literally feel the seconds ebbing away from our lives and we are filled with a sense of desperation. What have we achieved? What have we done with our lives? We are reminded of our aspirations we had once had that have lain dormant…. Buried….. while we are engrossed with building our lives in this dunya. We are reminded of how we wanted to be the true and successful servants of our Creator and we become sick with worry and shame. We see how we have not moved an inch closer to this goal. We want to make amends….. we
know we can do it. And so we start all over again. We begin to piece together our ideas and resolutions. This time we will not forget and we will not fail, Insh'Allah. We will fast more, pray more, recite the Quran more…. We will change the world and make it a better place. We set out with promise and enthusiasm but as the months go by, our determination fizzles out and our good actions are forgotten. Our resolutions once again remain in the realm of good intentions….until the next time something prompts us into introspection. How do we avoid this? How do we convert our good intentions to consistent actions? I do not dare to say I have all the answers. I can only share what I have learnt in my own struggle with good intentions and resolutions. Here are some tips that I hope you will find useful in trying to live Islam daily:1. Purify your intentions and remember that you wish to seek the pleasure of Allah: Sincerity in all we do is a commandment of Allah (swt): "Say, 'Indeed my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds. No partner has He. And this I have been commanded, and I am the first (among you) of the Muslims." (Surah al-An'aam, 6:162,163).
He also says: "So worship Allah (alone) by doing religious deeds sincerely for Allah's sake only, (and not to show-off and not to set up rivals with Him in worship). Surely, the religion (i.e. the worship and the obedience) is for Allah only." (Surah Az-Zumar 39:2-3). Ibn Al-Qayyim (rahimahullah) said, "Deeds without sincerity are like a traveler who carries in his water-jug dirt. The carrying of it burdens him
and it brings no benefit."2. Seek His help through du'a: Allah has told His Messenger (PBUH) that He is close and answers the supplication of any servant who calls to Him. He said: "When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to
them), I respond to the prayer of every supplicant when he calleth on Me." (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:186). 3. Do not procrastinate: It is easier for one to put off a goal until tomorrow so that one can rationalize not disciplining oneself
today. How often have we said, "Insha'Allah, I will make a change tomorrow" but never actually get around to doing it? One of the early scholars said, "Beware of procrastinating. It is the greatest of the soldiers of Satan." Do not make half-hearted promises – you are fooling no one but yourself. Carry out your resolutions with zeal and optimism.4. Take baby steps and set realistic goals in our zeal: We often chart ambitious plans only to be discouraged when we cannot sustain our efforts. Remember that no good deed is to small – the Prophet (pbuh) was asked, "Which deed is most beloved to Allah?" He said, "The one that is continuous, even if it is little." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Fath al-Bari 11:194). Small changes work a great deal better than giant leaps, so don't bite off more than you can chew. Start out with small deeds and you that you
can accomplish easily and consistently before moving on to more challenging ones. This will motivate you and make you feel more successful. Insha'Allah, you will find that over time, you will have made a big difference.5. Build a good support system: Ibn Hazm said, "Anyone who criticizes you cares about your friendship. Anyone who makes light of your faults cares nothing about you." It is said that reminders benefit the believers, so surround yourselves with good companions who will give you sincere advice and who will support you with your resolutions. Avoid those who will chip away at your self-esteem or who will tempt you away from your resolutions. Bear in mind what, 'Ali radhiallahu 'anhu said: "Mix with the noble people, you become one of them; and keep away from evil people to protect yourself from their evils."6. Tract your progress and be consistent:

[IslamCity] Freedom and humiliation-- editorial of al-ahram

2006-03-26 Thread S A Hannan

Dear editor/ members of the list,

Assalamu Alaikum. Kindly see the Al- Ahram editorial
onattack on Jhericho jail and arrest of Ahmad Saadat by
Israel.

Shah Abdul Hannan

Freedom and humiliation

Throughout the history of resistance movements around the world their
dream has always been freedom -- breaking the chains of prisoners, and
coming out from behind the walls of prisons. But what took place last
Tuesday in the Palestinian city of Jericho was an absurd scene many
found difficult to comprehend.
The hero of this scene was the Palestinian resistance figure Ahmed
Saadat, the leader of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine
(PFLP) who Israel accused of involvement in the assassination of the
Israeli minister of tourism, and extremist, Rehavam Zeevi, in 2001. An
agreement was reached to imprison him with a number of his comrades in
Jericho prison under American and British protection. Israel violated
this agreement when it decided to detain Saadat and the Israeli army's
bulldozers besieged the Jericho prison and tore down its walls while
tanks began to shell it.
Perhaps Saadat wished or expected for his end to be an Israeli bullet
or a missile exploding his car; an end any Palestinian resistance
fighter expects. Israel violates agreements every minute, and while it
left Arabs busy pressuring the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, to
recognise it, the Israeli army were unleashed to direct a disgraceful
blow to all Arabs and supporters of peace everywhere.
The awful scene was one of the resistance fighter seeking refuge in
the prison and declaring on satellite television his refusal to respond
to the demands of Israel to come out and surrender. The absurdity was
what was important -- that the conscience of the world had so withered
that this resistance fighter found no protection and security other than
behind prison walls that became a twisted symbol of safety protecting
him from the barbarity of a vicious occupier.
This strange situation revealed the extent of Arab impotence in
measuring up to the force of the Israeli occupation. The Arab world,
from the Gulf to the ocean, has shrunk, and is no longer able to provide
a secure spot of land to protect this resistance fighter, or any other,
aside from a mere 20 square metres within Jericho prison. In the end,
all were forced to raise their arms and white flags and come out,
surrendering to occupation soldiers after they razed the prison over
their heads. It was a terrifying and degrading scene the Arab world will
never forget. Added was the first scene of submission, at the beginning
of that day, when prison guards and some Palestinian detainees came out
in their underwear, their arms raised over their heads, following the
orders of occupation forces. The echo of Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq was
lost on no Arab.
Palestinian and Arab agreement to imprison Saadat was, from the
start, sure sign of Arab impotence. No one explained that the killing of
Zeevi was in response to the assassination of Abu Ali Mustafa, the PFLP
secretary-general, in his office on Palestinian territory by Israeli
hands. It is clear that Israel wanted, through the scenario of abducting
Saadat and his comrades, to direct a new blow to all Arab states.
Saadat, and the PFLP in general, no longer play an effective and
influential role in the political arena. So what other reason could
there be?
Perhaps if Israel had done what it did in the 1960s and 1970s it
would make sense. The PFLP, which adopts Marxist thought, was in those
years one of the most important and most widely present factions of the
Palestinian resistance. Yet this presence suffered a clear setback since
the first Palestinian Intifada in the second half of the 1980s, to the
advantage of Fateh, Hamas and Islamic Jihad. Israel wanted to remind
everyone, once again, that it does not bind itself to any rules or
agreements. It acts in freedom and leaves it to others to search for
justifications for what it does, the international community and the
Arab world being equal in
  this.

[IslamCity] Palestine and Native Americans

2006-03-26 Thread Shaikh Hyder

http://www.counterpunch.com/robideau02012006.htmlFebruary 1, 2006 "God Given Right" Palestine and Native America By ROBERT ROBIDEAU The recent election windfall victory of Hamas has sent shock waves through the United States and the European Union. They swiftly announced their threat to withhold $400 million in aide if Hamas refused to recognize the state of Israel and disarm. Hamas, which has promoted itself
as a militant alternative to the discredited Fatah government, now has to live up to its own rhetoric of providing an alternative to the long suffering Palestinian people. Mr Zahar, the leader of Hamas who rose to power in 1989, reportedly said, "Spies and thieves must fear us," and "thieves are those who steal our land". As a member of the American Indian Movement, I know full well that the roads into the Americas were paved by thieves. It was A government spy sent to create internal disruption, who set the stage for the execution of Anna Mae Aquash, an icon in Indian country; and while over 150 government police terrorized communities on the Pine Ridge Oglala Lakota reservation in the summer of 1975, the federal government stole one eighth of the Pine Ridge reservation land. The state of Israel sets on land that was originally Palestinian but Zionist movements in Europe and the United
States claimed that the "land was given to them by God" and their belief that their race possessed some "natural superiority". Euro- Americas pray to "god and country" and teach their future generations to pray homage to the gangsters, outlaws and thieves who stole the country from Indian nations in god's name. The European idea that they possessed a "God given superiority" not only had brought them into conflict with the Palestinian people, but also North American Indian Nations in the 1800s. In contrast, Euro-Americans and Europeans began their westward expansion of North America under the banner of manifest destiny. A belief that they had a "divinely inspired mission" to expand. Euro-American expansion meant the thief and occupation of Native American Indian lands. A big part of William Henry Harrison´s responsibility, who as the Territorial Governor of Indiana, was to obtain
title to American Indian lands so that white settlement could expand in the area, asked the Indiana legislature: "Is one of the fairest portions of the globe to remain in a state of nature, the haunt of a few wretched savages, when it seems destined, by the Creator, to give support to a large population, and to be the sea of civilization, of science, and true religion?" Isn't this the Zionist attitude toward Palestine? The United States continued the European practice of recognizing only limited land rights of Native American Indians who they regarded as "savages" who stood in the way of Euro-American expansion. The same mentality has prevailed with Israel people in their dealings with the Palestinian people. In the time of Manifest Destiny, this idea was clear and simple, "Indian Removal". The "Indian wars" between Native Indian Nations and Euro-American armies, which are now well recorded,
ended in more then 300 treaties that won some tribes large sections of land, but today these lands have all but melted away into the hands of Euro-Americans. Euro-American's believed that Native American Indians were "destined to melt and vanish before the advancing waves of Anglo-American power..." but the large land sessions won by the Tribes through treaty in fact allowed future generations to survive, even as their lands continued to be lost through one passage after another of Congressional Acts that swindled tribes out of millions of acres of land. Today Native lands have become checker boarded with Euro-American ownership and continue to be subject to Congressional Acts to defraud Native people of even more land and the natural resources. The Palestinian people continue to struggle through various groups like Hamas in self defense of their
sovereignty and to keep their remaining lands. So too, has North American Indian people continued to struggle to keep what is left of their lands and recover stolen lands. The Federal Government offers the Lakota Nations 100´s of millions for their sacred Black Hills, but the Lakota people have refused the federal paper dollars, firmly stating, "Our sacred land is not for sale!" Of the numerous Native American Indian groups that have historically formed to confront the continued Euro-American intrusions into our lives and sovereign rights, the American Indian Movement (AIM) has become best known. Like the PLO, Hamas and other Palestinian liberation groups, we too were criminalized by the invaders and thieves who attempt to undermine our rights as a liberation group with aggression, violence and name calling. As with the Palestinians, we too will not be denied, through threats of violence, our
right of self defense. On September 2005 the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) launched a

[IslamCity] About AIDS Informative **Important **

2006-03-26 Thread Ghafoor Jan
I just thought that ppl should be aware of what really AIDS is just
posting you a very brief Description of AIDS.

Hope this helps you in some way

HIV/AIDS IN INDIA - Some facts
India is the country with second largest population of
HIV-infected individuals.

First case of HIV was detected in 1986 in Chennai.

Current estimates of HIV infection among the adults between the age
15-49 years is 0.7 %.

HIV is increasingly being diagnosed among the housewifes and pregnant
women and not among the high risk groups.

In the last 5 years the infection rate among the commercial sex workers
of Mumbai has increased from 1% to 51 %.

States in India - Maharashtra, Tamil Naidu, Karnataka, Andhra Pardesh,
Manipur and Nagaland have infection rates greater than 1%.

Availability of drugs against HIV --- Out of 15 antiretroviral drugs
available worldwide, 10 are available in India. Pharmaceutical company Cipla is
the leading manufacturer of these drugs.

HIV virus presents great challenge to the scientists. There are nine
genetic variants known as subtypes - from A to J are in circulation in
deffirent geographical areas. In India subtype C is prevalent, while in Europe
and America, subtype A and B are common. Subtypes may further have many
strains. thus even if a vaccine is developed in US it may not be effective in
India.  ==
  ABOUT HIV/AIDS

What is HIV? HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) is a virus
that causes AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome), a health condition in
which a person is affected by a series of diseases because of poor immunity.
HIV by itself is not an illness and does not instantly lead to AIDS. An HIV
infected person can lead a healthy life for several years before s/he develops
AIDS. What is AIDS?As the name, Acquired Immunodeficiency
Syndrome indicates, AIDS is a health condition that results from the deficiency
in the body's immunity following HIV infection. HIV attacks the human body by
breaking down its immune system that is meant to fight diseases. Over a period
of time, the immune system weakens and the body loses its natural ability to
fight diseases. At this stage, various diseases affect the infected person.

  TRANSMISSION
A person can get infected with HIV through the following routes:
Unprotected sex: If a person engages in sexual intercourse with
an infected person without using a condom, s/he can get infected. The sexual
act can be both vaginal and anal. Sharing of needles: If a
person shares the needle or syringe used by/on an infected person, either for
injecting drugs or drawing blood or for any other purpose involving piercing,
s/he can get infected. Instruments used for piercing and tattooing also carry a
small risk of infection. Unsafe blood: A person can get
the infection, if he/she is given transfusion of infected blood.
Improperly sterilised hospital tools: If surgical devices like syringes
and scalpels, or even certain instruments, used on an infected person, are used
on another person without proper sterilization, they can transmit the
infection. Parent to Child: An HIV
positive mother can transmit the virus to child during pregnancy or birth.
Breast milk can also act as a transmission-medium. Theoretically oral sex
without condom (on men) or barriers like dental dam, vaginal dams or plastic
wrap (on women) can also transmit

  DIAGNOSIS
How is HIV diagnosed? In the early stages of infection, HIV
often causes no symptoms and the infection can be diagnosed only by testing a
person's blood. Two tests are available to diagnose HIV infection - one that
looks for the presence of antibodies produced by the body in response to HIV
and the other that looks for the virus itself.
Antibodies are proteins produced by the body whenever a disease threatens it.
When the body is infected with HIV, it produces antibodies specific to HIV. The
first test, called ELISA (Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay), looks for such
antibodies in blood. If antibodies are present, the test gives a
positive result. A positive test has to be confirmed by another test called
Western Blot or Immunoflouroscent Assay (IFA). All positive tests by ELISA need
not be accurate and hence Western Blot and repeated tests are necessary to
confirm a person's HIV status. A person infected with HIV is termed HIV-
positive or seropositive. As ELISA requires specialized equipment,
blood samples need to be sent to a laboratory and the result will be available
only after several days or weeks. To cut short this waiting period, RAPID TESTS

[IslamCity] State terrorism in palestine--from al - ahram

2006-03-26 Thread S A Hannan

State terrorism
Israel's raid on a Jericho prison exposes the worthlessness
of international guarantees, writes Ibrahim Nafie

Last Tuesday Israeli occupation forces raided Jericho's prison. They
demolished the building in stages before arresting a group of
Palestinian prisoners. This operation took place with the approval of
the acting Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, and was ordered by
Minister of Defence Shaul Mofaz.
The aim was to arrest Ahmed Saadat, secretary-general of the Popular
Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), and other Palestinian
figures including Fouad Al-Shoubaki, accused of overseeing the funding
of the arms deal uncovered by the Israeli navy when it intercepted the
boat Karin A on 3 January 2002.
The operation began with the mobilisation of large numbers of
armoured vehicles and equipment, including scores of bombshells.
Palestinian security personnel responsible for securing the area were
stripped of arms and their clothes and left in their underwear.
Occupation forces attacked the building with bulldozers and
explosives. After killing two members of the security personnel and
injuring another 62 they arrested the PFLP leader and his companions,
who were transferred to Israeli detention prisons.
Israel undertook the operation to kidnap a group of Palestinian
figures who, in accordance with an international agreement made with
late Palestinian president Yasser Arafat, were held in a prison guarded
by US and British forces. Ahmed Saadat was due to be tried for plotting
the assassination of the former Israeli minister of tourism Rahavam
Zeevi on 18 October 2001 -- a response to the Israeli assassination of
the PFLP secretary-general Abu Ali Mustafa on 27 August 2001.
Al-Shoubaki was facing trial for his role in the Karin A arms deal. The
agreement with Arafat was reached following Israeli demands that it
should detain and try the two men.
On the morning of 14 March the US and British monitors charged with
overseeing the Jericho prison were withdrawn. Following their departure
Israeli forces began their siege of the prison. The British prime
minister said the monitors had been withdrawn for security reasons, i.e.
ensure their safety, while US sources said they had informed PA
President Mahmoud Abbas of their decision to withdraw monitors a week
earlier. Abbas confirmed he had been notified, but said no date for the
withdrawal of the monitors had been specified. Washington also hinted it
would veto any discussion of the matter in the UN Security Council.
The raid raises many questions about the role of the US and Britain.
There can be no doubt that Washington and London were fully aware of
what Israel intended to do, and effectively colluded with Tel Aviv. They
informed Abbas of their intention to withdraw monitors without informing
him when that would take place, though Israel clearly knew. Abbas, who
cut short a European tour to return and visit the remains of the prison,
confirmed that Israeli forces stormed the area only five minutes after
the monitors were withdrawn.
The operation, and the US-British-Israeli coordination that
underwrote it, raises fundamental questions about the worth of
agreements the PA signs with Israel, as well as the worth of
international -- and in particular US -- guarantees. It undermines any
negotiating process that seeks to resolve the conflict, confirming that
Israel has no intention of abandoning the bullying tactics it has long
employed under the political and security cover provided by
international powers.
This operation will weaken calls among the Palestinian factions --
not least within Hamas -- for a political solution and will reinforce
the arguments of those pushing for armed struggle no matter what the
cost.

[IslamCity] SHIAS BELIEF TAKEN FROM THIER RELIGIOUS BOOK USOOL AL KAFI

AL-KAFI

Here we have Usool al- Kafi that is a collection
narrations and traditions attributed to the Shiite
Imams, Ahlul Bayt and the Prophet. Al-Kafi is the MOST
reliable Shia Book, as the reliable Shia Scholars said
and declared . Its author is Thiqat al-Islam Muhamad
Ibn Yaqoob AlKulayni (A VERY reliable Shia Scholar,
died in 328 H). Some Shi'ites scholars believe usool
Al-Kafi was presented to the legendary Imam Qaem who
liked it and said: It suffices our Shi'ites
(al-Tharee'ah ela Tasaneef al-Shi'a: Agha Buzurg
al-Tahraani; vol.17, p.245)

Al-Kafi is a collection of Hadiths attributed to the
prophet Muhamad p.b.u.h and The Infallible Imams
-according to Shia- and like AhlSunnah, who give much
importance to their Hadith book (Saheeh AlBukhari),
Shia give the same or maybe even more importance to
their Book (Al-Kafi) . Unlike AhlSunnah who call
AlBukhari's Book as (Saheeh AlBukhari), Shia do not
call Al-Kafi as (Saheeh Al-Kafi), nevertheless, Shia
treat Al-Kafi as it is (Saheeh) and their most
reliable scholars declare it as a (Saheeh) .

Ironically we find Mr. Mulla Baqir Majlisi stating in
his commentary on al-Kafi, named Mir'at al-'Uqul, that
9,485 out of the 16,121 narrations in al-Kafi are
unreliable! Now here we reach two conclusions, either
Imam Qaem made a mistake to authenticate a book, 60%
of whose contents would later be discovered to be
unreliable or Mr. Mulla Baqir Majlisi (the most
reliable and respected Shia Scholars ever existed) did
not know what he was talking about.

Any way Here are some of the Shia most reliable
Scholars' sayings about Al-Kafi :

[1] AlHur Al'amily said The authors of the Four Books
of shia (Al-Kafi , AlIstibsaar , AlTahzeeb , Mun La
YahDuruHu Alfaqeeh) have testified that the Hadiths of
their books are accurate (saheeh) , firm and well
conducted from the roots that all shia agreed on , and
if you consider those scholars (the authors of the
four books) are reliable then you must accept their
sayings and their narrations . [Alwasa'el , volume
20 , page 104]

[2] Sharaf'Deen AbdulHussain Mosawy said: Al-Kafi,
AlIsTibSaar, AlTahzeeb and Mun La YahduRuHu Alfaqeeh
are *MutawaTirah* and agreed on the accuracy of its
contents (the Hadiths) , and Al-Kafi is the oldest ,
greatest , best and the most accurate one of them .
[The book of AlMuraja'aat , Muraj'ah number 110 ]
. MutawaTirah = accurate 100% because it was
narrated by many narrators .

[3] Muhammad Sadiq AlSaDr said : Although The Shia
are on the unanimity of that The four books (Al-Kafi ,
AlIsTibSaar , AlTahzeeb and Mun La YahduRuHu Alfaqeeh)
are accepted and *all* the narrations in them are
accurate ( Saheeh ), But they did not call them by the
name (Sihaah ) like AhlSunnah did. [The Book of shia
Kitab alshia page 127 ]

[4] AlTabRassy said: Al-Kafi among the four shia
books (AlTahzeeb , Al-Kafi , AlIsTibSar , mun la
YahDuruhu Alfaqeeh) is like the sun among the stars ,
and who looked fairly would not need to notice the
position of the men in the chain of hadiths in this
Book , and if you looked fairly you would feel
satisfied and sure that the hadiths are firm and
accurate. [MusTaDrak AlWasa'el, volume 3 , page 532]

[5] AlKhomeini said: Do you think it is enough for
our religious life to have its laws summed up in
Al-Kafi and then placed upon a shelf? [Al-Hukumah
Al-Islamiyyah page 72]

Now, I think each and everyone of us is interested to
know what this Book (Al-Kafi) contains, the book that
made all those Shia Scholars praise it and recommend
it, actually even blamed their followers for not
applying more effort of studying and research as
AlKhomeini said in his book (Al-Hukumah Al-Islamiyyah
page 72) !!.

EXAMPLES of the CONTENTS of AL-KAFI:

[1] The Imams have knowledge of All that was given to
the angels and the prophets. ( Al-Kafi vol.1 p.255 )

[2] The Imams know when they will die, and they only
die by their choice. ( Al-Kafi vol.1 p.258 )

[3] The Imams have knowledge of the past and future;
and nothing is hidden from them. ( Al-Kafi vol.1 p.260
)

[4] Bad'ah ALLAH tells a lie. (Al Kafi, Vol. No.1,
Page No. 148. A Shia doctrine.)

[5] We are the eyes of the God in his creature and the
final authority in all human beings. (Al Kafi, Vol.
No. 1, Page No. 145)

[6] The Hujjat (Ultimate proof) of God can not be
established without Imam. (Al Kafi, Vol. No. 1, Page
No. 177)

COMMENT: No doubt that these words are clear Kufr
(Disbelief) and Shirk (Polytheism), because the
knowledge of the unseen is only for Allah alone ..
These words with no doubt countradict what Allah said
in Surah Luqmaan Verily, Allah With Him (Alone) is
the knowledge of the Hour, He sends down the rain, and
knows that which is in the wombs. No person knows what
he will earn tomorrow, and no person knows in what
land he will die. Verily, Allah is All-Knower,
All-Aware (of things) [Quran 31:34]

[7] Obedience to `Ali is true humility and
disobedience to him is disbelief in Allah (Al-Kafi
vol.10 p.54)

Even a casual reader of the Quran will not fail to be impressed by its emphasis on the freedom of conscience as a corner stone of its moral structure: (See Quran: 2: 256, 10: 99, 3: 20,
5: 92, 42: 48). The entire moral teachings of the Quran are based on the notion of moral responsibility which entails freedom of choice. Therefore, to state that one must be put to death for choosing to disbelieve would only undermine the entire moral edifice of the Quran. Furthermore, Quran does not allow anyone to harm those who are leaving in peace, no matter what religion they hold on to. This principle has been clearly stated in the Quran. (Quran: 4: 90) In pursuance of this policy, the Prophet, peace be upon him, issued clear directives to his soldiers never to disturb those who are engaged in any form of worship. The policy of living and letting others to live is firmly enshrined in Chapter 109 of the Quran. In full conformity with the above teachings, neither the Prophet, peace be upon him, nor any of
the four Righteous Caliphs who succeeded him, were in the habit of hunting down people and executing them for merely changing their religions. Rather, they refrained from doing so except in rare cases involving treason. Treason, however, is another matter. The punishment for treason in the Quran is as strict as it is in the Old Testament. But it must never be confused with mere change of religion.Source:Fatwa by Shaikh Ahmad Kutty - Islam.caO Allah, O Sufficer of the isolated and weak and Protector
