[IslamCity] QUDSI HADITHS # 14 AND 15

2006-06-02 Thread Saba Khan

Hadith Qudsi 14:
On the authority of Abu Harayrah (may Allah be pleased
with him)
from the Prophet (peace be upon him), who said:

Allah (glorified and exalted be He) has supernumerary
angels who
rove about seeking out gatherings in which Allah's
name is being
invoked: they sit with them and fold their wings round
each other,
fillin that which is between them and between the
lowest heaven.
When [the people in the gathering] depart, [the
angels] ascend and
rise up to heaven. He (the Prophet p.b.u.h.) said:
Then Allah
(mighty and sublime be He) asks them - [though] He is
most knowing
about them: From where have you come? And they say: We
have come
from some servants of Yours on Earth: they were
glorifying You
(Subhana llah), exalting you (Allahu akbar),
witnessing that there
is no god but You (La ilaha illa llah), praising You
(Al-Hamdu
lillah), and asking [favours] of You. He says: And
what do they ask
of Me? They say: They ask of You Your Paradise. He
says: And have
they seen My Paradise? They say: No, O Lord. He says:
And how would
it be were they to have seen My Paradise! They say:
And they ask
protection of You. He says: From what do they ask
protection of Me?
They say: From Your Hell-fire, O Lord. He says: And
have they seen
My Hell-fire? They say: NO. He says: And how would it
be were they
to have seen My Hell-fire: They say: And they ask for
Your
forgiveness. He (the Prophet p.b.u.h) said: Then He
says: I have
forgiven them and I have bestowed upon them what they
have asked
for,and I have granted them sanctuary from that from
which they
asked protection. He (the Prophet p.b.u.h) said: They
say: O Lord,
among then is So-and-so, a much sinning servant, who
was merely
passing by and sat down with them. He (the Prophet
p.b.u.h) said:
And He says: And to him [too] I have given
forgiveness: he who sits
with such people shall not suffer.

It was related by Muslim (also by al-Bukhari,
at-Tirmidhi, and an-
Nasa'i).

Hadith Qudsi 15:
On the authority of Abu Harayrah (may Allah be pleased
with him),
who said that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
Allah the
Almighty said:

I am as My servant thinks I am (1). I am with him when
he makes
mention of Me. If he makes mention of Me to himself, I
make mention
of him to Myself; and if he makes mention of Me in an
assembly, I
make mention of him in an assemble better than it. And
if he draws
near to Me an arm's length, I draw near to him a
fathom's length.
And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at speed.

(1) Another possible rendering of the Arabic is: I am
as My servant
expects Me to be. The meaning is that forgiveness and
acceptance of
repentance by the Almighty is subject to His servant
truly believing
that He is forgiving and merciful. However, not to
accompany such
belief with right action would be to mock the
Almighty.

It was related by al-Buhkari (also by Muslim,
at-Tirmidhi and Ibn-
Majah).

[IslamCity] IMPORTANCE OF TAHJUD PRAYERS

2006-06-02 Thread Saba Khan

Those who keep awake at night will be admitted to
heaven without an account being taken of their deeds

(93) It is related by Asma bin Yazid that the Apostle
of God said: “One the Judgement Day all men, after
being raised upon again, will be gathered together in
a vast and flat plain [and] the herald of the Lord
will call out, ‘Where are they whose sides kept away
from bed during the night [i.e., who used to leave
their beds in order to offer up the Tahajjud
prayers]?’ These men will stand up after this
announcement and their number will not be large. After
it, they will enter Heaven without being brought to
account. All the rest of men will, then, be commanded
to report themselves for the Reckoning.”

[IslamCity] HOW SHORT EASY THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT WILL BE FOR BELIEVERS

2006-06-02 Thread Saba Khan

How short and easy the day of judgement will be for
believers

(92) It is narrated by Abu Sa’eed Khadri that [once]
he went to the Apostle of God and said: “The Day of
Judgement, about which it has been said: On that Day
men will stand in the presence of the Lord of the
Worlds, who will have the strength to remain standing
on it [i.e., who will be able to stand throughout the
Day of Judgement about which it is stated in the Quran
and the Traditions that it will be equal to fifty
thousand years]?” The Prophet replied, “For the
truthful Believers it will be made easy to stand on
that Day so much so that it will be like standing for
an obligatory prayer-service.”

 -Baihaqi
Commentary.-An indication of what the Prophet told Abu
Sa’eed Khadri is also available in the Quran which
reads: For when the Trumpet shall sound, surely that
day will be a day of anguish, not of ease, for the
disbelievers.

  MP
in asylum row to move to US
  From correspondents in Amsterdam
  Reuters
  May 16, 2006
  http://www.news.com.au/story/0,10117,19151953-23109,00.html

AYAAN Hirsi Ali, a Somali-born Dutch politician known for her
outspoken criticism of Islam, will leave parliament and move to the US
after admitting she lied to win asylum in the Netherlands.
Ms Hirsi Ali, 36, sought asylum in the Netherlands in 1992, claiming
to be escaping from an arranged marriage. She gained Dutch citizenship
in 1997 and was elected to parliament in 2003.

A storm erupted about her asylum application last week after a Dutch
television documentary interviewed members of her family about her
background. They said she had not been forced into an arranged
marriage and had had nothing to fear.

Asked whether she had falsified her asylum application, Ms Hirsi Ali
told the program she lied about her name, age and how she came to the
Netherlands.

The program prompted calls for her to leave parliament and even be
  stripped of citizenship.

The MP came to international prominence in 2004 when an Islamic
militant killed filmmaker Theo van Gogh after he directed a film she
wrote accusing Islam of suppressing women.

Ms Hirsi Ali's office declined to comment on reports in the Dutch
media today that she was leaving, but said she planned to address a
  news conference tomorrow.

I think it is a painful loss both for Dutch society and for politics
that Ayaan leaves parliament, said Jozias van Aartsen, a former
parliamentary leader of the VVD liberals, which is Ms Hirsi Ali's
party and part of the centre-right government.

I think it says something about the state of the country: overly
sensitive and provincial, Mr Van Aartsen told Dutch radio.

The Volkskrant newspaper said Ms Hirsi Ali would start working for the
conservative American Enterprise Institute in September after reaching
a deal with US authorities about her security.

The paper said Ms Hirsi Ali had also been in negotiations with two
other institutes, the Johns Hopkins University and the Brookings
  Institution, over the past months.

Dutch Radio 1 said the move had been planned for some time, but was
brought forward because Ms Hirsi Ali has to leave her heavily-guarded
home in August after a court ruled she must move because neighbours
had complained of the security risk.

Ms Hirsi Ali went into hiding after Van Gogh's killing due to death
threats and only returned to parliament months later.

Immigration Minister Rita Verdonk, vying to be the VVD's lead
candidate in the 2007 general election, said on Sunday she would
launch an investigation into Ms Hirsi Ali's citizenship.

Ms Hirsi Ali, whose real name is Hirsi Magan, pretended she had come
to the Netherlands from Somalia, rather than via Kenya and Germany.
Refugees are usually required to apply for asylum in the first safe
  country they reach after fleeing.

Immigration has been a hot topic since 2002 when populist Pim Fortuyn
said the country could not absorb more foreigners. He was killed by an
animal rights activist later that year but mainstream politicians have
  since taken up his ideas.

[IslamCity] Understanding Broadband

2006-06-02 Thread || Tom Dick and Harry ||

First of all, you must know some of the jargon!
The word broadband itself simply is defined as a high speed Internet
service that gives you continuous access to the Internet on a
consistent basis. Broadband includes a technology called ADSL which
stands for Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line and requires a special
modem to access the line.

This technology uses standard copper telephone lines to provide Internet access speeds from 1.5 to 9 megabytes per second. DSL technologies or Digital Subscriber Lines use a higher frequency than standard telephone communication.

There are several types of DSL configurations including ADSL or Asymmetrical Digital Subscriber Lines,
HDSL or High data rate DSL, and VDSL or Very High Data Rate DSL. A DSL
line dynamically increases the capacity of ordinary copper wire. Since
the signal is stronger the closer you are to the DSL Access Multiplexor
or DSLAM the faster your signal will be the closer you are to the DSL
provider's Central Office or distribution point.

DSL lines are typically used for small business and residential customers.
Of course as your needs grow, it should be understood; that the more
data you need to transfer, the larger the pipe (Internet access line or
physical copper wire) you need to transport the data. This is where
more sophisticated forms of broadband come in for business use. Read
more information at : http://online-articles.org/broadband-internet/site-map.php

The technical terms for this type of broadband is measured by the amount of data that the line transfers.
T1 -Transmits data in the range of 1.5 million bits per second and
primarily used by small and medium sized business with heavy upload and
Internet traffic. A T-1 line is usually leased by bandwidth used.
Typical uses are large graphic files, photographs, sound files, music,
video, etc. However, your company should evaluate the amount of data
and computers that are connected for Internet Access at the same time.
T1 lines in the United States carry a 24 pulse code modulation (PCM)
signal using time-division multiplexing (TDM).

These lines use copper wire which usually connect major metropolitan areas.
There are a number of high quality companies that offer T1 Broadband
and you will find that prices do vary so it is important that you
compare.

You
may also find that your local cable provider may have introduced their
version of broadband which actually can emulate one side of a T1
connection. However, you should be aware... You may actually get
1.5 mpbs on the download side, but when you try to upload a file, your
bandwidth is cut down to about 1/10th. A cable connection is made for
residential customers to surf the Internet with great speed and
download files, but not made for you to upload with great speed. This
slow upload limit is the major difference between a real T1 line and
cable.Read more information at :
http://online-articles.org/broadband-internet/site-map.php

There are many types of broadband connections that are much faster circuit than T1,
these range from T3 (3 times faster than T1) to OC-48, and a frame
relay connection which really are the same thing just MUCH larger pipes
(lines) that can transmit the data. I have found while working with
broadband providers you really need a persona coach to help guide you
through the process.

Not only can personal coaches such as ImageLink Networks guide you through the red tape,
the efficiency that comes from our presence and telecom knowledge will
save you time and money in the end. It is important to seek an unbiased
opinion and research for the best real time price for your T1 line.
Broadband is a commodity, and changes as new subscribers come online in
specified areas. To make a long story shorter, you are ready for a
broadband connection if you are tired of waiting for a standard dial up
to connect and download.

Do not be confused,
dial up companies use a standard phone line to connect you to their
server to bring you an Internet connection. One thing is for sure, if
you ever experience a broadband connection via cable, T1, T3, DS-3, or
better you will never ever go back to dial up.Read more information at

[IslamCity] Are We Really Supposed To Hate Non-Muslims? (Part II)

2006-06-02 Thread saiyed shahbazi

As we discussed last time, those who are bent on promoting the "Doctrine of Hatred" cite verse 60:4 and the example of Prophet Abraham (pbuh). Yet, it is clear that this understanding is not valid when the verse is examined in its proper context. Thus, again, I can say truthfully that there is no basis for the claim that Muslims must hate all non-Muslims. None whatsoever.Yet, there are other considerations that further strengthen my contention for the lack of evidence for the "Doctrine of Hatred." First of all, there are some verses that tell the Prophet what to do in case the people "turn away," or reject what he is saying: Behold, this is indeed the truth of the matter [about Jesus not being God], and there is no deity whatever save God; and, verily, God - He alone - is almighty, truly wise. And if they turn away [from this truth] - behold, God has full knowledge of the spreaders
of corruption. (3:62-63) [emphasis added]Say: "O followers of earlier revelation! Come unto that tenet which we and you hold in common: that we shall worship none but God, and that we shall not ascribe divinity to aught beside Him, and that we shall not take human beings for our lords beside God." And if they turn away, then say: "Bear witness that it is we who have surrendered ourselves unto Him." (3:64) [emphasis added]But if they turn away [from thee, O Prophet, remember that] thy only duty is a clear delivery of the message [entrusted to thee]. (16:82)Say: Pay heed unto God, and pay heed unto the Apostle. And if you turn away [from the Apostle, know that] he will have to answer only for whatever he has been charged with, and you, for what you have been charged with; but if you pay heed unto him, you will be on the right way. Withal, the Apostle is not bound to do more than clearly deliver the message [entrusted to him].
(24:54)No where in these verses does it say, "If they turn away, then hate them." So, on what basis are Muslims supposed to hate all non-Muslims? Now, to be completely honest and forthcoming, in verse 3:32 it does say: Say: "Pay heed unto God and the Apostle." And if they turn away - verily, God does not love those who deny the truth.Yet, I do not conclude from this verse that I am, therefore, supposed to hate all non-Muslims. My guiding principle when it comes to my non-Muslim friends, colleagues, and neighbors is verse 60:8.Secondly, in verse 3:110 it says: You are indeed the best community that has ever been brought forth for [the good of] humanity: you enjoin the doing of what is right and forbid the doing of what is wrong, and you believe in God... How can Muslims be the "best community that has ever been brought forth for [the good of] humanity" if they must harbor hatred in
their heart of hearts for all those who are not Muslim? Does this make any sort of sense? Thirdly, in verse 4:36 it says: And worship God [alone], and do not ascribe divinity, in any way, to aught beside Him. And do good unto your parents, and near of kin, and unto orphans, and the needy, and the neighbour from among your own people, and the neighbour who is a stranger and the friend by your side, and the wayfarer, and those whom you rightfully possess. In this verse, God commands the believers to do good unto their neighbors, and it does not stipulate the faith of these neighbors. Similarly, in a tradition reported in both Bukhari and Muslim, the Prophet (pbuh) said: "Whoever believes in God and the Last Day, let him to do good unto his neighbor." Again, the Prophet (pbuh) did not stipulate the faith of that neighbor. In addition, the wayfarer very well can be a non-Muslim, and the verse did not
stipulate the faith of the wayfarer. How can Muslims obey these commandments if they are supposed to harbor hatred in their heart of hearts for all those who are not Muslims? Does this make any sort of sense? Fourthly, in verse 5:5 it says: Today, all the good things of life have been made lawful to you. And the food of those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime is lawful to you, and your food is lawful to them. And [lawful to you are], in wedlock, women from among those who believe [in this divine writ], and, in wedlock, women from among those who have been vouchsafed revelation before your time - provided that you give them their dowers, taking them in honest wedlock, not in fornication, nor as secret love-companions...Now, if Muslims are supposed to hate all those who are not Muslim (such as Jews and Christians), how could it be that they can eat of their food? So, a Muslim can eat a Kosher meal, but must remember that
he has to hate the Jews who prepared it? Does this make any sort of sense? Furthermore, if Muslims are supposed to hate all those who are not Muslim (such as Jews and Christians), how could it be that God would allow Muslim men to marry Jewish and Christian women? The verse does not say that the Muslim husband has to convert his wife, and it is quite conceivable that many Jewish or Christian

Delegates to the Canadian Union of Public Employees Ontario convention in Ottawa voted overwhelmingly Saturday to support the campaign until it sees Israel recognizing the Palestinians' right to self-determination. The Ontario group represents more than 200,000 workers. The global campaign started last July and has been supported by many North American churches, 20 Quebec

[IslamCity] THE IMORTANCE OF READING QURAN WITH TAJWID!

2006-06-02 Thread Saba Khan

Is it obligatory on all Muslim to know the proper
pronounication of quranic letters and the tajweed?

Question
Is it obligatory on all Muslim to know the proper
pronounication of quranic letters and the tajweed?

Answer
 THE IMPORTANCE OF TAJWID

An Arabic adage proclaims: The speech of the kings is
the king of all speech.

So, can the excellency of the speech of the kings of
all kings – Allah Ta’ala – even be equated with
man-made speech.

One of the many miracles of the noble Qur’aan is that
regardless of the number of times it is recited, one
never gets tired nor bored with its recitation. Allah
Ta’ala says in the noble Qur’aan, ‘Indeed the
believers are those who tremble with fear when Allah
is remembered and when the verses of the Qur’aan are
recited before them, it increases their belief and
upon Allah they have complete trust. (8:2)

One of the salient points mentioned in this verse is
that when a believer recites the noble Qur’aan in the
correct manner, it increases his faith and belief in
Allah. Reciting the noble Qur’aan in the correct
manner means to recite it with Tajwid.

What is Tajwid

Allah Ta’ala says in the noble Qur’aan, ‘And recite
the Qur’aan with Tarteel.’ (73:4)

When asked about the meaning of Tarteel, Hadhrat Ali
(Radhiallaahu Anhu) replied, ‘It means that the
Qur’aan should be recited with Tajwid and with due
observance to the rules of Waqf (pausing or stopping
at the end of the verse).’

Tajwid means to recite every letter correctly, i.e.
from its proper origin of pronunciation coupled with
its stipulated attributes.

According to Imaam Jawzi (Rahmatullaahi Alayhi), the
verse, ‘Verily my people have renounced the Qur’aan’
has two interpretations. Firstly, it could mean that
they had renounced the Qur’aan by not believing in it
and practicing upon it. And secondly, it could mean
that they used to recite the Qur’aan in such a
disgusting manner that it sounded like senseless and
meaningless jabbering. Reading the Qur’aan without
Tajwid could also be included in the second
interpretation.

Tajwid from the Hadith

Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) has said,
‘Indeed Allah desires that the Qur’aan be recited in
the manner it was revealed.’ This Hadith clarified by
the Aayat and, ‘We revealed the Qur’aan with Tartil.’
(2:32)

The definition of Tartil has been explained above.
Since the Qur’aan emphatically commands us to recite
the Qur’aan with Tajwid, it is Fardh to recite the
Qur’aan with Tajwid.

Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) has said,
‘The Qur’aan will either testify in your favour or
against you.’ Hence, if we fail to observe the
requirements of the noble Qur’aan during our
recitation, the Qur’aan will testify against us. If we
are unacquainted with these prerequisites, we are
compelled to acquire the laws of Tajwid.

Due to the vastness of the Arabic language, any small
mistake in pronunciation of a letter or word may
change the meaning of that word. For example, the word
‘Qalb’ (with q) means heart, if read ‘Kalb’ (with k),
it will mean a dog’. So just as how in any other
language we learn pronunciation of letters and words,
for example, in English we learn that ‘ph’ stands for
‘f’ (as in phone) and not pone. Similarly, in the
Arabic language, we also have to learn pronunciation
of letters and words, which we term as ‘Tajwid’.
Tajwid is not like all other subjects which we are
able to separate from the Qur’aan but instead Tajwid
and Qur’aan work hand in hand. If there is no Tajwid
with Qur’aan, there is no Qur’aan. The question may
arise that, how can such a statement be made that if a
person reads Qur’aan without Tajwid, he is not read
Qur’aan? Yes, such a statement is 100% correct.

Our beloved Rasul (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) states
in one Hadith, ‘There are a lot of readers that read
the Qur’aan but the Qur’aan curses them instead of
making Du’aa for them.’ We get some people nowadays
who spend hours and hours reciting the Qur’aan
thinking that they are getting and attaining great
rewards. But because there pronunciation of letters is
incorrect, a very big problem arise. It sounds very
small when we say, ‘I am only pronouncing a letter
incorrectly..’ But did this thought ever cross our
minds that when a letter changes in a word, the word
changes and if a word changes in a sentence then the
whole sentence changes and eventually the meaning also
changes. So from this, we understand the Hadith of our
Rasul (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam), that some people
read so much of the Qur’aan but because they do not
know the correct pronunciation of the letters, they
change the letters which then changes the words which
eventually leads to the changing of the sentence and
meaning of the Qur’aan. So, the Qur’aan in turn,
instead of making Du’aa for such people it curses
them.

We should also remember that from the time and
generation of Nabi (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) till
now, no one has ever denied this fact that Tajwid is
compulsory. It is only now in

[IslamCity] Cure by Quran

2006-06-02 Thread adil naveed

I also read a book Written by ABU AMEENAH a scholar in Islam , that the wearing of anything as protection is SHIRK A person should read certain surahs for various ailment and not wearing it I read a book on Remedies from the Quran written by HADRAT MOULANA ASHRAF ALI THANAVI In the book there are many section for various remedies that suggested to wearing of TAWEEZ to avoid evil, jadoo , etc. It is mentioned in various ailment that certain ayat should be written on a cloth or paper and wear it on the neck as taweezAnswer 152572005-08-31Allah Taãla says in the Noble Qurãn, 'In the Qurãn is (spiritual, physical) cure for people.' The opening chapter of the Noble Qurãn, Surah Faatiha is also called the chapter of Shifaa. It is recorded in the Bukhari Shareef vol. 1 p. , 'A ruler of a certain clan was stung by a creature, the people of the area requested the Sahaaba to cure him, one Sahaabi read Surah Faatiha and blew on the affected area and cured
the ruler. The Prophet (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) even praised the Sahaabi for doing so. From the above quotations, it is clear that the verses of the Noble Qurãn is a means of cure. Treating oneself with Taweez containing verses of the Qurãn is similar to treating oneself with medication. By using medication, one merely places his trust in Allah Taãla and use the medication as a means of cure. The effect in the means is with the Will of Allah Taãla so, too is the usage of the Taweez. The art of making Taweez is a science independent to other known sciences. People who have studied this science are most knowledgeable to explain its vast understanding. One thing must be outlined at the outset is that anyone practising the making of Taweez cannot ascribe (in his method and application) partners with Allah Taãla. Any act of Kufr is unacceptable in Islam. The people during the time of Jaahiliyya had an
incorrect belief that the stars and planets cause rainfall, but the Prophet (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) dismissed that. The drawings and illustrations used in Taweez are like the concepts used in geometry, etc. to arrive at a solution. In conclusion, consider the following Hadith: Abu Khuzaymah (Radhiallaahu Ánhu) narrates from his father that he asked Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam), 'Inform me about Rukan (blowing in water and Taweez), medication, and means of security, does it change Taqdeer (predestination)? He replied, 'They (all the above) are within Taqdeer. (Mishkãt pg. 22) and Allah Ta'ala Knows Best Mufti Ebrahim Desai

We run a basketball camp during the summerfrom June 9 - July 30th. Camp activities take place Monday-Thursday from 10:00am-5:00pm at the Masjid Bilal (North Zone) gymnasium. League games are played on Thursdays 10:30am-5:00pm. The camp consists of basketball drills that focus on, footwork,
quickness and agility, shooting techniques, defense, dribbling, basketball strategy, and scrimmages. The cost is $75(cash only) per person for the 6-week summer camp. Costs include camp jersey. NOTE: Hoopfest II is primarily a project that focuses on youth who might not otherwise get the opportunity to play organized basketball. It affords them a chance to develop their skills and gain the self-confidence in their natural and acquired skills and abilities. We take all campers through a rigorous basketball skillls development routine that incorporates drills in teaching shooting and passing techniques, footwork and agility, as well as basic defensive and offensive strategy. Re: [IslamCity] Chatting and Internet

2006-06-02 Thread habib

Mufti Ibrahim Desai did NOT forbid chatting or
Internet as a technology. What he did say is "It is not permissible for
male or female to speak on the telephone to the opposite gender who is a Ghayr
Mahram (not prohibited in marriage) freely and without
necessity."

Please read his fatwa again, before replying to
him.

None of the following statements of your makes any
sense...

noted your below answerthat chatting on
internet is prohibited

 I'm totally confuse on it,if
we should have to avoid themthen the technology of mobile fones and tele
fones are also prohibited

 these
things/technologiesshouldn’t be prohibited

... because he did not prohibit the technology. He
prohibited communication with the opposite gender without a need.
Regardlesswhether the communication uses modern technlogy or performed the
old fashon direct way.

Was-salam.

  Asslam-u-alikum!!!

  Respected Mufti Ibrahim
Desai Sb, noted your below answerthat chatting on internet is prohibited
but I need to ask something to you that both chatter can't see each other and
can'texpress the exact feelings although it is possible through wording
and other animation effects but still both are behind the screen, then how it
could be prohibited unless they don't talk beyond the confines. If I have a
male/female friend in overseas and I don't have any other source to contact
with him/her except the chatting and I do chat in a very sophisticated
mannersjust to discuss routine matters and just to knowing each others
then what it should be consider whether wrong or right. and whereas the
animation effects (smiley/sad/cheer/weeping/clapping etc) are just to state
the feelings and those are not the actual pictures and nobody is even
worshiping(NAUZ BI LLAH)them. So even they are
  bad/prohibited...

  I'm totally confuse on
it,if we should have to avoid themthen the technology of mobile
fones and tele fones are also prohibited to use as we mostly send text
messages to our friends (male/female) around the clock, means is this also
  prohibited

  I believe (sorry to say
I'm not going to challenge your knowledge, as you are my senior and I respect
you more than a common man) these things/technologiesshouldn’t be
prohibited, the way we use that should be stopped. We have to change the way
we are using these scientific innovated products. Asour
God(Almighty Allah) blessed us a brain and we are the only creators of
HIS which have the greatest rank in HISall creation, and HE
alsogave us power to innovate new things and sense to use/utilization
ofthose thingsSo, its better that we should have to follow the right
way instead to ignoring the things. As I believe God made two ways for
each and single track, now its totally up to us which one we
  follow

  Sir, please amend me if
I'm wrong in any point! Looking forward for your kind response!

internet regularly and they will tell you that sometimes it is difficult to
transfer your _expression_ to your chatting buddy, so a smiley face (as they
are known) are concatenated to the sentence to show the writers

Chatting on the internet is similar to
speaking on the telephone. It is not permissible for male or female to
speak on the telephone to the opposite gender who is a Ghayr Mahram (not
prohibited in marriage) freely and without necessity. If there is a
genuine need which is valid in Shari’ah, then members of the opposite
gender may speak through the telephone with modesty and confine the
discussion to the need. To speak freely and beyond necessity is a
sin. The same rule applies for chatting on the internet. No person should
decide him/herself what is a valid reason in Shari’ah to speak on the
phone or chat on the internet. Many people have their own interpretations
of genuine need which is not acceptable in Shari’ah. We are aware of many
such people who have caused ruin to their lives especially by chatting on
the internet with the opposite gender.
