With whom did Musharraf spend a relaxed day in London?

  Wednesday, January 30, 2008 - 11:31 AM EST - 503 Reads

Section: Army vs PakistanThe story
is out. Musharraf spent a relaxed day in London with Brigadier Niaz
Ahmad, who was instrumental in Mush's promotions. Former Prime Minister
Shaukat Aziz was also around. Both Niaz and Shaukat are in the closet
Ahmadi/Qadiani circule around Musharraf - sect with a Head Quarter in
Haifa, Israel. Qazi Hussain ahmad publicly said that Musharraf is introducing
Parvezi creed in Paksitan. The first change that General Perwaiz Musharraf made
in CBR is to replace its chairman, Mr Riyaz Naqvi, and appoint Mr Riaz Ahmad
Malik Qadiani.
This Qadiani mafia around him and their handlers have a total grip on
the helm of affirs in Pakistan. Mush's secret meeting with Israeli
leaders, Qadiani fellows, company of terrorist Altaf Hussain and the
history of the Israeli involvment in the murder of General Zia (see: Who Killed
Zia? and Israelis Killed Gen. Zia Says Ex-US Amabassador ) -
all these links are so strong and so complex that ordinary people
cannot easily put 2 and 2 together. Here, a short intro to Brig Niaz
would help put things in a bit of perspective.

Who
is Brig (Retd) Niaz who is being given such prominence in the media. He
is reputed to be an instructor of General (Retd) Musharaf and currently
is being viewed as the Grand Deal maker of Musraraf's dying
dispensation.

  Brig.
Niaz who hails from village Dharnial Tehsil Pind Dadan (where majority
profess to be followers of Ahmadi sect) was a sepoy clerk in the Army.
Due to shortage of officers after partition the Army started a scheme
whereby sepoy clerks were inducted into the officer ranks. Brig Niaz
was amongst those who benefited from this scheme. Brig Niaz was amongst
the three Brigadiers who played General Zia's game very cleverly in
1977 in Lahore during the PNA movement in the sense that they refused
to come to the aid of an elected civil Government when it wanted to
quell violence unleashed by the Mullah dominated alliance. The
lawlessness in the country was later used as a pretext to impose
Martial Law. Contrast this to the officer's corps willingness to go on
killing a spree in Baluchistan, FATA, and Swat etc in order to save the
unelected Government of an Army dictator. In retrospect the refusal to
obey a civilian Governments order during a mullah lead campaign also
confirms existence of Mullah – Military Alliance.

  After
retirement from the Army Brig. Niaz started a food outlet in Lalkurti
area of Rawalpindi Cantonment. His luck changed when General Zia Ul Haq
summoned him and Brig (Retd) Ashraf Gondal (the other Brig at Lahore in
1977) and introduced them to the executives of Swedish (Ericsson) and
Swiss (Orlikon) firms who were in the process of receiving huge Defense
supply orders from the Army. Both these Brigadiers acted as front men
for Zia Ul Haq. Multimillion dollars orders were placed for Law
Altitude Defense Radars (LADS) with Ericsson of Sweden and for anti
aircraft guns Orlikons with the Swiss Company. It is reported that
these two deals netted a commission of nearly 100 million US Dollars
which these Brigadiers shared with Zia Ul Haq.

  After
becoming a millionaire in Dollar terms Brig. Niaz started living
lavishly and entertaining lavishly. Parvaiz Musharaf was amongst the
group of officers who were regularly supplied with all sorts of booze
and other things in life courtesy the Brigadier who also employed Col.
(Retd) Aslam Cheema a course mate  and best friend (closer then Tariq Aziz) of
Musharraf and after  Musharraf's uncle retired he too was appointed as an
office Manager in Niaz's Business.

  After
Musharaf became the President Cheema became the main Defense supplier
and a partner of Niaz. Both have managed to snatch the agencies of old
established defense agents by forcing the suppliers to change agents if
they wanted business in Pakistan. Over the last four years Cheema and
Niaz (both Ahmedi's) have managed to secure following businesses:-

  1) Supply of tank engines for Al - Khalid Al- Zarar tanks from
Ukraine – worth nearly 500 millions US Dollars.

  2) Supply
of Early warning system for Air force from SAAB Sweden worth 1.2
Billion US Dollars. This deal signed one week after the earthquake of
October 2005 was originally for 650 Million US Dollars. Niaz over
invoiced it by US Dollars 550 million. What a rape of a poor country's
resources.

  In
addition Niaz Cheema are now the biggest contractor/suppliers in
Civil Departments. One of their front Companies will be building the
new GHQ worth billions of rupees. Obviously Mush gets a big share of
this bounty.

  Niaz's
recommendation matters the most in securing promotions and good
postings both in the Army as well as on the Civilian side.

Update: Brig. Niaz fits the description of a mafia don

Bismillah [IslamCity] ruling: Place of one doing hajj for someone else

2008-12-07 Thread Shahid
Question # 109318: Does the proxy have to set out for Hajj from the place
of the one on whose behalf he is performing Hajj?

Question:

A woman from Yemen left instructions before she died telling her heirs to
appoint someone to perform hajj on her behalf from her own wealth. Is it
permissible for one who is living in Jeddah to perform Hajj on behalf of this
woman? Can he enter ihraam from his house in Jeddah or should he go to the
meeqaat of the people of Yemen, al-Saahili, and enter ihraam from there? Or
does the one who is going to perform Hajj on behalf of this woman have to be
from Yemen too, i.e., his departure for Hajj should be from Yemen? Does this
pilgrim have to be from the same town as this woman who left this will?.

Answer:

Praise be to Allaah.
The proxy does not have to do Hajj from the same town as the one on whose
behalf he is doing Hajj, and he does not have to enter ihraam from his meeqaat,
rather the proxy should enter ihraam from his own meeqaat. There is nothing
wrong with performing Hajj from Jeddah on behalf of a woman from Yemen, and the
proxy may enter ihraam from Jeddah.

The Standing Committee for Issuing Fatwas was asked about a man from Africa who
wanted to delegate someone to do Hajj on behalf of his mother, and they
replied:

It is permissible for the person mentioned to appoint a trustworthy person from
Makkah or elsewhere to do Hajj on behalf of his mother if she is deceased or is
unable to do Hajj herself, because she is elderly or sick with no hope of
recovery.

And Allaah is the Source of strength. May Allaah send blessings and peace upon
our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions. End quote.

Bismillah [IslamCity] ruling: Praying two nafils at Eid prayer place

2008-12-07 Thread Shahid
Question # 5266: Is it permissible for a person who goes to the Eid
prayers to pray two Rak'ahs for Tahiyyat al-Masjid in the prayer-place?

Question:

It has been proven that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah
be upon him) went out to pray the Eid prayers in the prayer-place [not the
regular mosque, but a place designated for Eid prayers], and men and women
alike went out to pray with him. All of the Sahaabah continued to do likewise
after he died. Is it permissible for a person who goes to the Eid prayers to
pray two Rak'ahs for Tahiyyat al-Masjid in the prayer-place or not?

Answer:

Praise be to Allaah.

A person who enters the prayer place to pray the Eid prayer should not pray
Tahiyyat al-Masjid before sitting down, because doing this is different to the
way the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and his companions
(may Allaah be pleased with them) used to do things.

And Allaah is the source of strength. May Allaah bless our Prophet Muhammad and
his family and companions.

Bismillah [IslamCity] Got a Minute?

2008-12-07 Thread adil naveed
Got a Minute?
See what you can earn in one thoughtful minute.
By Kalim Farooqi

A Great opportunity while we are still alive is to plan and act for tomorrow;
invest one minute of your daily supply of 1440 minutes and reap benefit which
no business can offer. Invest 15 minutes and multiply the rewards. We all know
that Allah's promise is absolute truth and we should seek it and act according
to His guidance. I am sharing this to promote Allah's consciousness and Love to
serve Islam in the best way possible and benefit Insha-Allah in both Worlds.
In one minute you can say Surat Al Fatiha 7 times. The reward for each reading
of the Surah: 1420 good deeds! This is on the basis that there are 142 letters
in the Surah, with each letter getting you 10 good deeds. So after doing a
simple calculation, 7 readings will get you 9940 deeds.
In one minute you can say: Laa Ilaaha Illa Allah, wahdahuLaa Shareeka Lah,
Lahul Mulk Walahul Hamd, Wa Huwa 'Ala Kulli Shay'in Qadeer 20 times. There is
no god worthy of worship but Allah, alone, without any partners. For Him is all
Dominion and Praise, and He has control over everything. Each saying is equal
to the deed of freeing 8 slaves.
In one minute you can say Subhaanallahu wa bi Hamdihi 100 times. (All praise
and glory is due to Allah) Whoever says this everyday will have his/her sins
forgiven.

But we should also remember that the best of deeds are those that are
maintained on a regular basis.
In one minute you can say Subhaanallahu wa bi Hamdihi, Subhaanallahu Al
'Azeem 50 times. (All Praise and Glory is due to Allah, All Praise is due to
Allah the Almighty).
These are a couple of phrases, light on the tongue, heavy on the scales (on
the Day of Judgement), beloved to the All Merciful (Allah). (Agreed upon)
In one minute you can say Subhaanallah, wa Al Hamdu Lil'lah, wa Laa Ilaaha
Illallah, wa Allahu Akbar 18 times (All Praise is due to Allah, and All Glory
is due to Allah, and there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest).
These are the most beloved words to Allah and his Prophet that the sun has
ever risen upon.
In one minute you can say Laa Ilaaha Illallah approximately 50 times There is
no true god worthy of worship, except Allah). Remember that these are the words
of true Islamic Monotheism --- and act accordingly.
In one minute you can say Laa Hawla wa Laa Kuwata Illa bi'llah over 40 times.
(There is no Power and Might except by Allah) This sentence is one of the
treasures of Paradise.
In one minute you can say Salla-Allahu alayhi wa sallam 50 times. (Sending
peace and blessings upon the Prophet) In return you get 500 blessings from
Allah, as each darood you make to His Prophet 10 blessings are returned to you!
In one minute you can contact your family and friends, and increase the bond
between you and them.
In one minute you can raise your hands to Allah and supplicate with any good
words you wish.
In one minute you can advise or compliment your brother/sister in Islam.
In one minute you can greet any brothers in Islam, smile, shake hands and have
a few good words with them.
In one minute you can remove anything harmful that may be laying on the street.
In one minute you can give a few words of comfort to a brother/sister who is
concerned and sad for any reason
In one minute you can read two pages of a useful book.
An important note in conclusion: In order to take advantage of the phenomenal
rewards outlined above we must maintain within our heart sincerity to Allah. We
must understand and genuinely wish for what we are saying and doing. We also
know that the best of deeds are those that are maintained on a regular basis.
Also we need to remember that best deeds are those deeds that Allah made
mandatory for us.
So do you have a minute or more for the smart investment?

Bismillah [IslamCity] Fasting on the Day of Arafaah

2008-12-07 Thread ***hajikhan***

It was reported from Abu Qutaadah (may Allaah be pleased with him)
that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)
was asked about fasting on the Day of Arafaah.

He (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said,

It compensates for the (minor) sins of the past and the coming year.

{ Muslim, Tirmizi, Ibn Majah }

This (fasting) is mustahabb for those who are not on Hajj.
In the case of the one who is on Hajj,
it is not Sunnah for him to fast on the Day of Arafaah,
because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)
did not fast on this day in Arafaah. It was narrated that he (sallallaahu
alayhi wa sallam) forbade fasting on the Day of Arafaah in Arafaah.
