Muslimeem, what we are all witnessing is the mass murder of Gazans by Israelis! This situation will be no different from the ethnic cleansing that occurred in Yugoslavia! There has to be a resolution that will prevent more of our brothers, mothers, sisters and children from being murdered by these wicked jews and those nations that support them! Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: Tahaarah,

expiate for minor sins only. *al-Fataawa al-Kubra, part 5*
Imaam al-Nawawi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: It expiates for all
minor sins, i.e., it brings forgiveness of all sins except major sins.Then
he said (may
Allaah have mercy on him): Fasting the day of 'Arafaah expiates for two
years, and the day of 'Aashooraa' expiates for one year. If when a person
says 'Aameen' it coincides with the 'Aameen' of the angels, he will be
forgiven all his previous sins… Each one of the things that we have
mentioned will bring expiation. If there are minor sins for which expiation
is needed, expiation for them will be accepted; if there are no minor sins
or major sins, good deeds will be added to his account and he will be raised
in status… If he had committed major sins but no minor sins, we hope that

Ramadhaan was obligated, whoever preferred to fast ('Aashooraa.) did so and
whoever preferred not to (do so) did not. And there is no Zakaat al-Fitr (to
be paid) on the day of 'Aashooraa. as there is on `Eed al-Fitr after the
month of Ramadhaan.
And with Allaah lies all the success, and may Allaah send prayers and

I'm wondering... . Why is President-elect Barack Obama suddenly so silent? He spoke out and acted swiftly regarding the financial crisis, then later the automakers' crisis. Is it that this great humanitarian crisis, the genocide of Palestinians, does not qualify in his mind (and heart) as a great crisis? Is bailing out the Wall Street financiers and car manufacturers more important than aiding the collective suffering of innocent men, women, and children? Is speaking out against crimes that are committed against humanity less important? I'm wondering. His silence makes him complicit with the execution of this vicious military campaign and the massacre of defenseless civilians in Gaza using US taxpayers' dollars. Obama has surrounded himself with Israeli loyalists and has pledged his support for Israel. His chosen vice president, Joe Biden, has openly claimed, I am a Zionist (smiling). You don't have to be a Jew to be a Zionist. Unfortunately, he has surrounded himself with others like Biden who are pro-war and pro-Israel loyalists (Rahm, Clinton, Axelrod, etc...the list is long). They have unrelenting support for Israeli causes, including and most likely the massacre in Gaza. Obama has not picked one moderate or someone who is against war from amongst his fellow Congressmen/ women yet. This article, Barack Obama: “America’s First Jewish President”, by Professor James Petras addresses these facts. I'm also wondering... Thinking back, I now reflect on what Biden said (and what he meant) when he made comments on the campaign trial. Did he already know something back in October? Could his comments be related to having prior knowledge of the current war in Gaza, which according to Ha'aertz was planned six months ago? Here are Biden's words: Mark my words: It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama, The world is looking. We're going to have an international crisis to test the mettle of this guy. I guarantee you it's gonna happen. These are comments from a talk Biden gave to campaign contributors at Seattle's Sheraton Hotel on Oct. 19, 2008. Here is more of what he said: Barack is the right guy at the right moment for this job, .. Barack gets it...And I'll tell you why I'm telling you this: because we're going to find ourselves in real trouble when we get elected...We' re gonna have the largest systemic deficit in modern – not modern – in the history of the world...So there are going to be a lot of tough decisions Barack's gonna have to make, a lot of very tough decisions, including on foreign policy. And here's the point I want to make: mark my words. Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy...we're gonna need you to use your influence, your influence in the community, to stand with him. Because it's not gonna be apparent initially, it's not gonna be apparent that we're right. After watching the video, reading Obama's body language, and listening to his comments, I wonder if he was being sincere then, and is only now being blindsided and speechless, or was he just being glibberish at the time? Perhaps the culmination of this terrible war against the Palestinian civilians, who have been imprisoned and systematically assaulted within closed borders, is the international crisis that Biden and others knew about, but kept away from the presidential hopeful. I wonder. Regardless, one of the worst things is that the American government has supplied the Israeli military with the bombs that are be used to kill our Palestinian brothers and sisters. These bombs are paid for using US taxpayer dollars, while most taxpaying folk are unaware, and our President-elect, who surely knows, has nothing to say publicly about it. OK, perhaps for the sake of rhetorical flourishing, Obama is waiting until he's inaugurated to speak out against Israeli crimes. Asalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakathuhu When Israel launched massive air strikes against Gaza, starting December 27, which left behind hundreds of dead and hundreds more clinically dead and wounded, many myths chattered, and with them uncountable clichés and slogans that have for years occupied Palestine's political landscape. Hamas itself, out of desperation, perhaps, was involved in disseminating some of these myths. Shortly after forming a Palestinian government in the Occupied Territories in March 2006, Hamas found itself facing the potential of a major international boycott, facilitated largely by the United States, at the behest of Israel. The Hamas response to the threats of isolation, boycott, and subsequent siege was a self-assured strategy centered around the idea that the Oslo peace ventures had denied the Palestinian struggle its strategic depth, namely appealing to and engaging Arab and Muslim nations. Various Hamas political leaders announced their government's intentions of reversing what they considered a self-defeating path taken by their predecessors who insisted on pivotal US involvement in the peace process, despite Washington's unmistakable bias and unconditional support of Israel. Arab and Muslim Brothers Even before the Hamas government was formally announced in Gaza, the Islamic movement's representatives took their case to Arab and Muslim countries, hoping to secure enough backing that would render any future Western boycott ineffectual. On their hectic tours in the Middle East, South East Asia, and Africa, Hamas officials received many verbal pronouncements of support, some timid, others passionate and promising. But when Israel and the United States began to carry out a systematic campaign of boycott, which morphed into a lethal siege against the Palestinian population of Gaza, Hamas began realizing the mistake of overstating the significance of the largely symbolic support they obtained in previous months. As Israel upgraded its siege in the following months, reaching the point of denying the Gaza Strip the most basic necessities, and as weary Gazans found themselves without electricity, little food and medicine, and flooded with sewage water, the Hamas government renewed its call on their Arab and Muslim brothers to come to the rescue, but, once again, to no avail. In June 2007, Hamas and Fateh predictably clashed. Their confrontation was brewing for years, and — aside from the Saudi initiative — little genuine efforts at reconciliation were made to prevent an all out conflict. However, when both forces collided in Gaza, and an immediate compromise seemed unfeasible, some Arab governments began to routinely call on Palestinians to unify their ranks. Those same governments were actively engaging one party, Fateh, and completely dismissing the other. As Fateh received the accolades of political validation, military training, and so on, Hamas representatives were shunned, as their deposed government, along with 1.5 million Palestinians were locked up behind Israeli walls, trenches, but also Egyptian fences. Locked Up Behind Walls Fences Since then, the situation in Gaza grew more dire, but also more confusing. If one watches Arab media, or listens to fiery comments made by Arab officials, one will easily reach a definite conclusion: The Arabs, both governments and peoples, are greatly irked by Palestinian divisions, and deeply disheartened by the humanitarian crisis underway in Gaza, one they would decisively and enthusiastically describe as a crime against humanity, genocide, or even a Holocaust. Even international and UN human rights observers have used every loaded, yet applicable term to underscore the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. That too achieved little, save the garnering of much deserved sympathy to a persecuted civilian population for simply exercising their democratic right to vote. But what makes the official Arab criticism of the Israeli siege peculiar and highly confusing to some is the fact that some Arab countries are themselves involved in maintaining the siege on Gaza. Egypt shares a border with the Gaza Strip that is not interrupted by any Israeli military presence. The border is sealed almost all the time, forcing Gazans to dig tunnels which now represent the only lifeline that keeps Gaza's malnourished population, more or less, alive. On a recent visit to Cairo, Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, who will be leading the center-right Kadima party in Israel's February elections, promised to end the Hamas rule in Gaza. Enough is enough she replied to an Egyptian request to use restraint in dealing with the impoverished Strip. Israel didn't heed Egypt's call for restraint as it carried out a massive onslaught that turned the open-air prison into a massive graveyard. Medics tell Press TV they have found traces of depleted uranium in some Gazan
residents wounded in Israel's ground offensive into the strip.
Norwegian medics told Press TV correspondent Akram al-Sattari that some of the
victims who have been wounded since Israel began its attacks on the Gaza Strip
on December 27 have traces of depleted uranium in their bodies.
The report comes after Israeli tanks and troops swept across the border into
Gaza on Saturday night, opening a ground operation after eight days of
intensive attacks by Israeli air and naval forces on the impoverished region.
Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak warned on Sunday that the wide-ranging
ground offensive in the Gaza Strip would be full of surprises.
A ground offensive in the densely-populated Gaza is expected to drastically
increase the death toll of the civilian population.
The latest assaults bring the number of Palestinians killed to over 488 with
2790 others wounded. The UN says that about 25 percent of the casualties were
civilian deaths - including at least 34 children.
According to Israeli army officials, at least 30 of its soldiers have been
wounded since the start of the ground campaign.
Amid global condemnation of the ongoing violence in the region, the UN Security
Council failed to agree on a united approach to resolve the crisis.
Once again, the world is watching in dismay the dysfunctionality of the
Security Council, UN General Assembly chief Miguel d'Escoto said Sunday.
According to diplomatic sources, the US blocked a Security Council resolution,
with US Deputy Ambassador Alejandro Wolff arguing that an official statement
that criticizes both Israel and Hamas would not be helpful.
The White House has so far declined to comment on whether an Israeli ground
incursion into Gaza is a justified measure.

Major Avitar Leibovich spokeswoman for the Israeli Defence Ministry The spokeswoman of Israeli Ministry of defence was explaining to the BBC, why some civilians in Gaza are being targeted ?? she said : when those civilians are stoking in their home-cellars rockets and missiles for Hamas, we cannot consider them as being civilians anymore ..I am also a civilian and I do not have missiles and rockets hiding in home -cellar.. ..unquote I saw this lady on the TV , (and not being myself a blind person) , I saw her wearing a military-uniform ( of a Major) while officially representing a ministry of defence. And to be more precise , a ministry of defence of an aggressing-country that did not do anything else than aggression and occupation the last 60 years. This lady claims now to be now a civilian , and that , therefore , she has no missiles in her cellar at home (because , most probably she has those missiles in her office). The Conclusion : an Israeli, wearing his or her military uniform while being interviewed by TV cameras (and not by a radio) and claiming that she or he is a civilian, must be believed...!!!.
