The top military general, who carried out mass murders of Muslims, are Christians, such as, Benny Murdani (former C-in-C and later Defense Minister), Luhut Panjaitan (former Minister of Industry), and Theo Syafei. The list of Christian ministers in former president Abdur-Rahman Wahid's included Bungaran Saragih (Minister of Agriculture) and Purnomo Yusgiantoro (Minister of Mining and Energy). Historically, Indonesia never functioned a political state until the colonization of its 13,500 islands by the Dutch colonialists in 1509 CE - who named the Malay world of Southeast Asia - the Dutch East Indies, which later was 'Christianized' to Indonesia. The Dutch colonialists originally came to invade about a dozen Islamic States - the lands from Acheh in the West to Ternate in the East, some 5,000 miles apart and many islands between, were all populated by Muslims and enjoyed the rule of Islamic Shari'ah. Muslim traders introduced Islam to the local people during the 13th century. During the 1945-49 struggle for independence - lead by Islamic Mashumi Party - everyone expected that the new republic would be an Islamic State, not only because of the Muslim majority but also because the fighting and the dying were under the banner of 'Islamic Jihad'. In 1949 - when the Dutch colonialists withdrew - they made sure to hand-over power to Javanese anti-Islam secularists and Christian elites whose first step was to scotch any mention of Islam in the Indonesian constitution, the Pancasila doctrine (word driven from Hindu mythology), which is based on pagan Hindu culture of the Natives. The second step was to place Islamic education, mosques, Zakah and Fitra, and Hajj under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, which has been governed by 'official ulemas' (mostly belonging to Nahdatul Ulema Party), who believe that the Pancasila ideology is not against Islamic principles. The five principles of Pancasila ( fathered by Kusno Sukarno, died 1970, the first president of Indonesia) are 1.. belief in God (according to ones' own interpretation), 2.. Indonesian nationalism (it is a multi-cultural and a multi-racial entity, put together by Dutch colonialists), 3.. humanitarianism (its definition is to open to ones' choice too), 4.. democracy (sort of American democracy - for the elites by the elites), and 5.. social justice (for the rich and powerful). General Murdani was a frequent visitor to Tel Aviv. He bought arms and reconditioned Israeli jet-fighters for Indonesian Armed Force. Both Suharto and Murdani pocketed million of dollars worth of commission from Israelis. According to a CIA report on the working of Israeli Mossad - recovered from the US embassy in Tehran - Israeli provided training to the secret service of Indonesia and maintained constant contacts through Mossad officers working under commercial cover. In a CIA sponsored military-soup, Sukarno was replaced by a pro-West General Suharto in March 1967, who ruled the Muslim-majority country with the help of Christian military elites and western vultures who wanted to keep exploiting natural resources of the region and making sure that the country doesn't turn into an Islamic state in the future. Indonesia is rich in oil, gas, coal (93.4 billion-tonne), tin, nickel, timber, gold and silver - and has been target of western greed and killings. The current (sixth) president, General Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (he held ministerial posts under president Wahid and Megawati) - has several Christians holding powerful cabinet posts, such as, defense, interior, and finance. In 2006, Iranian president, Dr. Ahmadinejad, visited Indonesia on Yudhoyono's invitation. Is it the attention (fame) he is getting or is it the Money he (or his organization) makes? Nothing Mr. Jamshed Iqbal wrote proves anything against Dr. Zakir Naik. The truth is evident to everyone, He has devoted his life to making "Dawah". Hundreds (if not thousands) of people across the globe have accepted (reverted to) Islam because of his services to deen, Alhamdulillah and the numbers increase with each passing day, Masha'Allah! If you have a problem digesting these facts then I suggest you find a way to deal with it. Kindly do not defame nor obstruct the way of those who dedicate their life for the sake of Allah, They have enough opposition (from other religeous leaders) to deal with as it is. Tanzania - Christianizing Islam and Israel The Eastern African country Tanzania (population over 40 million) is the result of a marriage between two former British colonies, Tanganyika (Muslims 35%, Christians 30%, and Indigenous 35% - according to CIA's 'The World Factbook') and Zanzibar (Muslims 99%) which took place in 1964. Muslims are found in all of 120 tribes living within borders of Tanzania. Julius Kambarage Nyerere (1922-1999), the first president of Tanzania was a fundamentalist Catholic, who attended Mass on regular bais - and was responsible for toppling of Zanzibar ruler, Sultan Jamshed bin Abdullah by a military coup in 1964. He ruledTanzania till his retire,met in 1985. During his rule he put his fellow members of Christian minority at almost all government sensitive positions. The City state of Zanzibar was established by Muslim Arabs from Oman in the 8th century. During 16th century, Zanzibar was colonized by Portuguese. In 1699 the Portuguese colonists were thrown out by Arabs and the country became part of Oman dynasty. In 1840 Omani Sultan Seyyid bin Sultan moved his seat of govenment from Oman to Zanzibar. In 1890, England obtained protectorate status over Zanzibar. In 1897 Zanzibar came under German colonization. In 1919 the League of Nations awarded Tanganyika to England, which ruled the country till December 1961. Island of Zanzibar got its independence in 1963 under the al-Busaidy Sultan. In 2005, Julius Nyerere was declared Saint (Beautification) by Vatican for his services to the Church. The current and the fourth president of Tanzania, Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete is a Muslim but close friend and follower of Julius Nyerere's socialism. He takes credit for appointing six women ministers in his cabinet. The Zionist entity established its diplomatic relation with Tanzania in 1960s. Dear sirs/ friends/members, Assalamu Alaikum.Some people want to abolish Islam as state religion of Bangladesh as reported by the Press.Islam was made state religion by General Ershad's government about two decades back. The move to abolish Islam as state religion is inappropriate. Whether written or not in all Islamic/Muslim states ( whether Khilafate Rashida or Banu Umayya or Banu Abbas or Usmani or Mughals or others ) had effectively Islam as state religion.These stated had Islamic law in force , they found their legitimacy in observing and defending Islam.The atate observed Islam but the non-Muslim citizens had all freedoms including freedom of religion.I hope this government will not take any such steps. Secularism is no answer in a Muslim majority state.Islam and secularism in proper sense are just opposite to each other. Shah Abdul Hannan

(33:21) The Almighty says, "No, by your Lord, they are not believers until they make you their judge in the disputes that break out between them, and then find no resistance within themselves to what you decide and submit themselves completely," (4:64; H4:65) and the Almighty says, "If you have a dispute about something, refer it back to Allah and the Messenger." (W4:58; H4:59) Scholars say that this means the Book and the Sunna. The Almighty says, "Whoever obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah" (W4:79; H4:80) and the Almighty says, "Truly you are guiding to a Straight Path," (W42:49; H42:52) and the Almighty says, "Those who oppose his command should beware of a testing trial coming to them or a painful punishment striking them." (W24:61: H24:63) The Almighty says, "And remember the Signs of Allah and the wise words which are recited in your rooms." (33:34) 162. Abu Musa reported that the Messenger of Allah, (PBUH), said, "The example of the guidance and knowledge with which Allah has sent me is like the abundant rain which strikes the earth. Some of it is fertile and accepts the water and brings forth plants and grass in abundance. Some of it is hard and holds the water enabling Allah to let people use it. They drink from it, water their animals and irrigate. Some of the land it strikes is level and barren and does not retain the water nor produce plants. The first is the example of someone who understands the Deen of Allah and benefits from that with which Allah has sent me and learns and teaches. The last is the example of the person who pays no attention to it and does not accept the guidance with which I have been sent." [Agreed upon]

And I could not find any example , not remote nor recent. There must be some magic formula that Islamic-banks do apply constantly that keeps them solid and irreprochable. I do not know it precisely because because , I am neither a Muslim nor a Banker. Also , only yesterday , I was trying to explain to my children how come Halal-food is healthier than my normal-christian- cooking. But I could not convince them why and they decided to refer rather to a Medical person , instead of me. What I fear now , is that my children will ask me , very soon, to explain how come Muslim Banks are more solid than others and also why the Christian-financial -world is run by "non-Christiansm" and never by the Muslims !! Optimistic women who tend to see the glass half full rather than half empty
live longer and much healthier, a new study has found.
According to the study presented at the annual meeting of the American
Psychosomatic Society, women who expect good rather than bad things to happen
are 14 percent less likely to die from any cause.
Compared to their pessimistic peers, optimists are more likely to be slim and
physically active and are less likely to smoke. They are also less prone to
high blood pressure and diabetes.
Their strong social relationships help them cope with chronic stress, lowering
the risk of cardiovascular diseases. The risk of death secondary to heart
problems is reduced by 30 percent in these women.
"Cynically hostile" women considered as highly mistrustful individuals are 16
percent more likely to die from any cause and 23 percent more vulnerable to
death from cancer.
Scientists concluded that optimism is directly linked to longevity.
