And say to the believing women that they cast down their looks and guard their private parts and do not display their ornaments except what appears thereof, and let them wear their head-coverings over their bosoms, and not display their ornaments except to their husbands or their fathers, or the fathers of their husbands, or their sons, or the sons of their husbands, or their brothers, or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or those whom their right hands possess, or the male servants not having need (of women), or the children who have not attained knowledge of what is hidden of women; and let them not strike their feet so that what they hide of their ornaments may be known; and turn to Allah all of you, O believers! so that you may be successful. [9. Surah Tauba : Ayah 129] Allah is sufficient for me, there is no god but He; on Him do I rely, and He is the Lord of mighty power. Sadaqat-ul-Fitr [Sahih Bukhari : Volume 2, Book 25 Zakat ul Fitr, Number 579] Narrated Ibn Umar (Radi Allah Anhu) Allah's Apostle (sal-allahu- alleihi-wasallam ) enjoined the payment of one Sa' of dates or one Sa' of barley as Zakat-ul-Fitr on every Muslim slave or free, male or female, young or old, and he ordered that it be paid before the people went out to offer the 'Id prayer. (One Sa' = 3 Kilograms approx.) [Sahih Muslim : Book 5 Kitab Al-Zakat, Number 2153] Abdullah bin Umar (Radi Allah Anhu) reported that the Messenger of Allah (sal-allahu- alleihi-wasallam ) prescribed Zakat-ul-Fitr of Ramadan one sa' of dates or one sa' of barley for every individual among the Muslims (whether) free man or slave, male or female, young or old. [Sahih Bukhari : Volume 2, Book 25 Zakat ul Fitr, Number 588] Narrated Ibn 'Umar (Radi Allah Anhu): Allah's Apostle (sal-allahu- alleihi-wasallam ) has made Sadaqatul-Fitr obligatory, (and it was), either one Sa' of barley or one Sa' of dates (and its payment was obligatory) on young and old people, and on free men as well as on slaves. [Sahih Muslim : Book 5 Kitab Al-Zakat, Number 2159] Ibn 'Umar (Radi Allah Anhu) reported that the Messenger of Allah (sal-allahu- alleihi-wasallam ) ordered that the Sadaqat-ul-Fitr should be paid before the people go out for prayer. [Sahih Bukhari : Volume 2, Book 25 Zakat ul Fitr, Number 587] Narrated Nafi': Ibn 'Umar (Radi Allah Anhu) said, The Prophet (sal-allahu- alleihi-wasallam ) made incumbent on every male or female, free man or slave, the payment of one Sa' of dates or barley as Sadaqat-ul-Fitr (or said Sadaqa-Ramadan) . The people then substituted half Sa' of wheat for that. Ibn 'Umar used to give dates (as Sadaqat-ulFitr) . Once there was scarcity of dates in Medina and Ibn 'Umar gave barley. 'And Ibn 'Umar used to give Sadaqat-ul-Fitr for every young and old person. He even used to give on behalf of my children. Ibn 'Umar used to give Sadaqatul-Fitr to those who had been officially appointed for its collection. People used to give Sadaqat-ul-Fitr (even) a day or two before the 'Id. Our Lord, pour down upon us patience, and make our steps firm and assist us against the unbelieving people. .__

[2. Surah Al-Baqarah : Ayah 43] And keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and bow down with those who bow down. Month Ramazan Rewards for those who Fasts [Sahih Bukhari : volume 3, Book 31, Number 118] Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi Allah Anhu): Allah's Apostle (sal-allahu- alleihi-wasallam ) said, Fasting is a shield (or a screen or a shelter). So, the person observing fasting should avoid sexual relation with his wife and should not behave foolishly and impudently, and if somebody fights with him or abuses him, he should tell him twice, 'I am fasting. The Prophet added, By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, the smell coming out from the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the smell of musk. (Allah says about the fasting person), 'He has left his food, drink and desires for My sake. The fast is for Me. So I will reward (the fasting person) for it and the reward of good deeds is multiplied ten times. [Sahih Bukhari : volume 3, Book 31, Number 120] Narrated Sahl (Radi Allah Anhu): The Prophet Muhammad (sal-allahu- alleihi-wasallam ) said, There is a gate in Paradise called Ar-Raiyan, and those who observe fasts will enter through it on the Day of Resurrection and none except them will enter through it. It will be said, 'Where are those who used to observe fasts?' They will get up, and none except them will enter through it. After their entry the gate will be closed and nobody will enter through it. [Sahih Bukhari : volume 3, Book 31, Number 122] Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi Allah Anhu): Allah's Apostle (sal-allahu- alleihi-wasallam ) said, When Ramadan begins, the gates of Paradise are opened. This is a country, remember, where a woman might be stoned for kissing a man in public. Alsanea has received death threats by e-mail and many tried to suppress her book. At one point, black market versions of this Arabic version of Sex and the City changed hands for £300. I didnt think about breaking any taboos or being a rebel. I wanted to describe how people find ways to get around some of the traditions. Young women I know want to be modern, hip, stylish and fall in love, the same as women everywhere. This is an appeal to help establish a Masjid in Puerto Rico. Hispanics are
one of the fastest growing groups in Islam and Imam Yusef Masionet of Mobile
Alabama, is in the forefront of the effort to introduce and promote Islam in
the Hispanic community.
Brother Yusef and I spent six weeks together in 2007 in an Imams Training
Program in the United Arab Emiretes and he has been working hard propogating
Islam to Hispanics before, during and after that program. The establishment
of a new Masjid in Puerto Rico is a major effort in this work.

Bismillah [IslamCity] FW: wudu with hijab
Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullah.. I have a question... If a girl wears hijab, is it allowed for her to just wipe the surface of her hijab instead of removing it and wipe her hair when performing wudu'? please give some proof if it is allowed or not allowed.. He got dressed, made his Wudhu (ablution) and was on his way to the Masjid. On his way to the Masjid, the man fell and his clothes got dirty. He got up, brushed himself off, and headed back home. At home, he changed his clothes, made his ablution, and was, again, on his way to the Masjid. On his way to the Masjid, he fell again and at the same spot! He, again, got up, brushed himself off and headed home. At home he, once again, changed his clothes, made his ablution and was on his way to the Masjid. On his way to the Masjid, he met a man holding a lamp. He asked the man of his identity and the man replied I saw you fall twice on your way to the Masjid, so I brought a lamp so I can light your way. The first man thanked him profoundly and the two were on their way to the Masjid. Once at the Masjid, the first man asked the man with the lamp to come in and pray Fajr with him. The second man refused. The first man asked him a couple more times and, again, the answer was the same. The first man asked him why he did not wish to come in and pray. The man replied I am Shaitan (Satan). The man was shocked at this reply. Shaitan (Satan) went on to explain, I saw you on your way to the Masjid and it was I who made you fall. When you went home, cleaned yourself and went back on your way to the Masjid, Allah (SWT) forgave all of your sins. I made you fall a second time, and even that did not encourage you to stay home, but rather, you went back on your way to the Masjid. Because of that, Allah (SWT) forgave all the sins of the people of your household. I was afraid if I made you fall one more time, then Allah (SWT) will forgive the sins of the people of your village, so I made sure that you reached the Masjid safely. Moral: Do not let Shaitan (Satan) benefit from his actions. Do not put off a good that you intended to do as you never know how much reward you might receive from the hardships you encounter while trying to achieve that good.

Where will you place these four (and many more) great companions of our Holy Prophet (SAW) on your scale of LOVE? Can you please give me reference from Quran, Sahih Bukhari or Sahih Muslim regarding Wasila of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) or any waliullah (after their death)?? Have you ever practically observed what people do on their visit to shrines of Auliyaullah?? I myself have seen people bowing in front of graves, performing almost all the postures of Salat. When we Muslim celebrate the birthday of our holy Prophet hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his immaculate progeny), what do we do? Do we dance, play music, consume alcohol, have sex parties, etc.? Nauzubillah, far from all these. All we do is, thank Allah for giving us the most noble of all the prophets, making us from his ummah, discuss his contributions/sacrifices for the religion of Allah. We discuss about his Ahlul Bayt (a.s.) and their contributions for Islam. Can anyone prove to us that it still all wrong in doing all these things and on what grounds? The truth of the matter is, that there are sworn enemies of Islam who under the guise of Islam, are hell-bent to destroy anything and everything that reminds us of the holy Prophet and his holy progeny. They have destroyed our heritage one by one. They want to divert our minds and hearts even from their remembrance in the name of bid'at. Are these people who pretend to be the custodians of haramain fit to be called Muslims? They are the people who destroyed the holy places and built toilets in its place. What respect and love do they have for the loved ones of Allah? They have no concept of shairillah. I wonder if ever a time will come for the Muslims to wake up from deep slumber and think for themselves from what sort of idiots are they seeking their guidance and where are they led to? They are confusing the naive and ignorant Muslims by brainwashing them and telling them that paying respect to the graves of awliyallah is equivalent to worshipping their graves. Sekking the wasila of the holy people in your duas is shirk. Little do the Muslims know that these very people who issue the fatawas regarding shirk and bid'ats, they themselves do not know the difference between thses things. If anything, they themselves need to learn the elementaries of Islam. May Allah (s.w.t.) grant us knowledge, wisdom, understanding and tawfiq to understand the true Islam as preached by the holy Prophet and his immaculate progeny (peace and blessings of Allah be upon them all).
