Our Lord! Grant us good in this world and good in the hereafter, and save us from the chastisement of the fire [2:201] Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil 'akhirati hasanatan waqina 'adhaban-nar رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ [البقرة :201] if u have doubt in ur mind recite surah Al-Baqrah , you shall get rid of the disease, in-sha-Allah. La illaha illa Anta Subhanak, inni kuntu min adh-dhalimeen (There is no God but You; Glory be to You, Truly I have been one of the wrongdoers) [Surah al-Anbiyah, 21: 87] Sa'd ibn Waqas (radiAllahu anhu) reported that the Prophet (salAllahu allayhi wasalam) said, "The supplication made by the Companion of the Fish (Prophet Yunus (as)) in the belly of the fish was (the above). If any Muslim supplicates in these words, his supplication will be accepted/responded to." In another report we read, "I know words that will cause Allah to remove one's distress. These are the words (of supplication) of my brother Yunus, peace be upon him" [at-Tirmidhi; 3500, an-Nisa'i in `Amal al-yawmi wa al-layla; #656, al-Hakim 1:505 and 2:383. The latter declared it sound (sahih) and Dhahabi confirmed him] Astaghfirullaha wa atūūbu ilai(hi) (I seek the Forgiveness of Allah and repent to Him.) [to be reicted 100 times during the day] [Sahih al Bukhari, Muslim 4:2075]

Ibn `Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) said: The Messenger of Allah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) used to say when he was in distress: "La ilaha illallahul-Azimul-Halim. La ilaha illallahu Rabbul-`Arshil-`Azim. La ilaha illallahu Rabbus-samawati, wa Rabbul-ardi, wa Rabbul-`Arshil-Karim. (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah the Incomparably Great, the Compassionate. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah the Rubb of the Mighty Throne. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah the Rubb of the heavens, the Rubb of the earth, and the Rubb of the Honourable Throne).'' [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. Commentary: The only medicine in a time of distress is the remembrance of Allah Whose Help alone should be sought. This Du`a contains words which glorify Allah and exalt Him far above all else. It is desirable to recite these words when one is in distress as this is exactly what the Prophet (Sall Allahu alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallim) used to recite in such situations. __ Yahoo! According to Hadith, there are many times when dua is accepted, for example after every obligatory salah, at the time of Tahajjud, between the time of Azan and Iqamah, when it starts raining, while in a journey, doing dua after praising Allah and reciting durood, doing dua in the sajdah of nafl salah. In the sajdah, one should recite only the duas which are narrated from the Prophet ((صلى الله عليه وسلم, it is not allowed to do dua in sajdah in Urdu language. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) used to pray after every obligatory salah: أللهم أنت السلام ومنك السلام You should study in the books of Ahadiht the chapter: باب ما يقول بعد السلام, you will find many traditions there. Also, there is a special chapter named ابواب الدعوات containing a number of duas. and Allah (Subhana Wa Ta'ala) Knows Best
