> At the moment I'm using both LDAP and MySQL with Guacamole. MySQL to store
> the connection data, LDAP (without the custom schema) to perform the
> authentication.
> The groups however, which come in from LDAP are empty - this means that
> currently I have to select each LDAP user and assign them to the LDAP group
> manually.
> This defeats the purpose of using LDAP groups in the first place, after all
> the entire idea is that you manage your groups & users in one central
> location; LDAP.
> It would be very helpful if the groups are populated with the members as
> defined in the respective LDAP directory, this way when a member is added to
> an LDAP group, the access to the connections is automatically granted.

Nils commented on GUACAMOLE-920:

Just to confirm, I have built the current state of what is to be 1.1.0 and can
confirm that the changes in there indeed address my request in here.

Feel free to close this ticket as a duplicate of GUACAMOLE-715.

Thanks.

[~cr4zyrain], please stop creating JIRA issues for this. There is no bug here
(see GUACAMOLE-921).

I had install freerdp-devel package “yum install freerdp-devel”
{quote}

Here, guacd is telling you exactly what is wrong and the effect that problem
will have: you are missing FreeRDP's "cliprdr" plugin, and clipboard support
for RDP will not work without it. This is why things were not working for you

The {{freerdp-devel}} package is needed for building guacamole-server, but you
do not need the {{-devel}} version of that package for running things after
they have been built. Depending on distribution, you might need to install
another package that contains FreeRDP's plugins such as "cliprdr". If
installing {{freerdp-devel}} made things work for you, the package in question
probably got pulled in as a dependency.
