We do not delete related entries in pg_compresion, pg_proc tables to be more 
upgrading friendly. This is a short plan. In the long run, we will remove them 
from the tables also.

I am trying to build hawq on a local OS X 10.10 environment with gcc version 
5.3.0

I can succesfully run

[~jiadx] Filter was earlier added in the PXF framework parimarily to handle 
predicate push down operations supported by PXF HBase plugin.
Adding support for LIKE is definitely useful within the PXF framework 
especially in the context of free text index like Solr. Please do provide the 
PR as Goden suggested.

We do not delete related entries in pg_compresion, pg_proc tables to be more 
upgrading friendly. This is a short plan. In the long run, we will remote them 
from the tables also.
