Obviously it's in the `--help` and the docs (http://mesos.apache.org/documentation/latest/configuration/) but given the mountain of possible flags, its easy to miss . {quote} Absolutely! If you can create documentation ticket(s) for what you would like to see / what is missing, that would be really helpful. Also, we are always happy to accept patches. Reporter: Sunil Shah cgroups isolation is not enabled by default on mesos-slave. For people deploying Mesos in a production environment, it makes sense that this would default - given the assumption that Mesos uses cgroups to isolate running tasks. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332)

IMHO this is a downstream constraint, as the configuration is different for a systemd vs. non-systemd distribution. [~idownes] [~vinodkone] What is your take on make cgroups default? Running mesos as non-root will fail, which may or may not be OK. For testing purposes, that's pretty annoying :-p Enable cgroups isolation by default --- Key: MESOS-1895 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MESOS-1895 Project: Mesos Issue Type: Improvement Components: slave Affects Versions: 0.20.1 Environment: Linux!
