[Issue 127769] New: Crashes when I click on master pages

2018-05-02 Thread bugzilla
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=127769

  Issue ID: 127769
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Crashes when I click on master pages
   Product: Impress
   Version: 4.1.5
  Hardware: Other
OS: Linux 64-bit
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: Blocker
  Priority: P5 (lowest)
 Component: formatting
  Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
  Reporter: crabtre...@yahoo.com
  Target Milestone: ---

I just upgraded from ubuntu mate 1604 to 1804 so perhaps this has something to
do with it. I was getting an error message that it crashed and that it would
be recovered but now I'm not getting any error message. The whole thing just
goes away so I'm not able to take a screen shot.

[Issue 127767] New: odt files are changed to zip files

2018-05-02 Thread bugzilla
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=127767

  Issue ID: 127767
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: odt files are changed to zip files
   Product: Writer
   Version: 4.1.5
  Hardware: Mac
OS: Mac OS X, all
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: Major
  Priority: P5 (lowest)
 Component: open-import
  Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
  Reporter: smyz...@pacbell.net
  Target Milestone: ---

All my odt files have been changed to zip files. If you click on it, it will
open as an unusable locked text file. It will open if you open it with Open
Office as a odt. file but closes back as a zip file. This has just started
happening. Have changed nothing except updated Open Office to 4.1.5.

This is strange as it is way below 255 characters. Please try to install in
custom mode. Then you can use a customized path like "C:\Program Files
(x86)\OOo4\". Does it help?

Furthermore, you should also use our user mailing list and forums [2] for such
problems. There are many more people that can help. Maybe one of them had
already the same or similar problem:

[Issue 127740] Printing is offset when printing on small pages

2018-05-02 Thread bugzilla
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=127740

I created the document in OpenOffice, version unknown. The image isn't printed,
but was added to the document to know where to put the text fields and how to
space the characters for the form.

The creation steps were (from memory) to
 - add the background image to represent the paper form on which it would be
printed
 - create text fields over the areas needed
 - adjust the font size and spacing until the characters aligned with the image

This seems straightforward and it worked until upgrading OpenOffice.

I'm not sure why testing draw or impress would be useful for investigating a
problem with writer.
