The software "Wedownload manager" does not belong to Apache OpenOffice. So, it
must be something else or malware.

I assume you didn't download OpenOffice from the official site:
http://www.openoffice.org/download/index.html That download page will lead you
to sourceforge, who hosts the binaries.
