experience Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* As part of a team,
support both public-facing and internal web sitesand applications.
Responsibilities include: on-call support,troubleshooting, incident
notification and resolution, problemmanagement, post-mortem analysis, and
root cause identification.* Interact with and coordinate activities of
cross-functional teams,including development, system administration,
database administration,network engineering and operations center staff.*
Design/build/deploy public-facing high availability Enterprise web
applications* Automate recurring tasks* Write clear documentation* Help
develop policies and best practices* Respond to after-hours emergencies on
a rotation basis* Proactively identify gaps and look to improve overall
system availability Technical Requirements:* Must be able to work 70% of
the time on the UNIX / Linux command line* Must be strong in Oracle
WebLogic Application Server 8.x/9.x/10.x,Apache Tomcat 5.x, and Oracle JDK
1.5 and higher in a high availability clustered environment* Experience in
configration of monitoring tools like Sitescope, Oracle Enterprise manager
is a plus and HP BAC* Strong in Apache web server 1.x and 2.x* strong in
UNIX shell scripting* Perl scripting, php is a plus* RedHat Enterprise
Linux 4/5* Solaris 2.8, 2.9, 10* Working knowledge of the following
