Unix system knowledge. Which including scripting knowledge, either in ruby,
Powershell or shell. Troubleshooting system performance using top, vmstat,
iostat , etc. Broad knowledge of platforms such us Tomcat, Apache ,
*Postgres*, Redis, Sidekiq, Node.js, *Ruby** over rails* applications,
NGINX.
2. Log monitoring using Splunk or something similar. Able to tail/less/head
system logs and interface with customer on issues.
3. System admin knowledge, adding memory, swap, space to virtual machines
4. Excellent communication skills to work with customer, project managers
and 3rd part vendors.
5. System Automation experience preferable Chef
6. Virtual environment setup , either in VMWare , or Virtual box
7. Basic networking skills, like setup NGINX, maintain certificates, setup
firewall rules.

*Good to have :*
1. Worked on LAMP stack applications
2. Experience with working with Infosec teams and understand technical
security requirements.
3. Xcode and mobile App development.

.NET Developer will work as part of a small team primarily supporting
existing applications with some work on new applications or enhancements
for interface purposes.  Developer will work on server applications to
support Positive Train Control, a real time train control and monitoring
system with a strong emphasis on message processing.

We have positions at most skill levels, so we encourage you to present
applicants with MORE than the experience described below, but not less.

*Basic Qualifications:*

· 3+ years of experience writing multi-threaded .Net C#
applications for servers or APIs

· 3+ years of advanced experience using Microsoft SQL Server and
TSQL languages.  (SQL Server 2016 preferred)

· 3+ years Microsoft ASP.NET  MVC (C# v7.0
experience required)

· 1+ years of verifiable experience developing multi-threaded

· Solid understanding of certificate/private key processing
principles in context of building and maintaining Key Exchange Services
within an enterprise Key Management System

The following skills and experience are desirable but not required:

· Experience building/maintaining applications in a High
Availability architecture (highly desirable)

· Microsoft Entity Framework experience

· Linux (RedHat) (gcc, binutils, and glibc at a minimum) / C++
